The reason I know this is because a girl sitting 1 person down the pew had been an exchange student in Bolivia. She knew the language. I go to a catholic school, and i'm an atheist turning Buddist, because their beleif makes more sense, and does not clash with science, but complements it more. Anyways what I have came to the conclusion about christianity is that most of the stories, like adam and eve, were created for simple minded people to understand 4000 years ago. Also, most bible stories are actually plagerised from ancient Mesopotamia. The most important part is the moral lessons, not how things happened.

@MPizzal Let me explain it very simply, so that even you can understand. When I found that God was real, I realized that He said a whole lot of things concerning His return. The main point is that all unbelievers are put to death. Because we love God, we love mankind. Our desire is to convince everyone to make their peace with God so that they are not killed. To do that we use the method that God commanded us to use - preach. When we have given everyone at least one chance, He can return.
What I meant was that Skelly expects us to listen to him preach, but he refuses to listen to anyone else's POV. He can't take criticism. That's why he disables comments on his vids and blocks people who doesn't agree with him. If ignorance is bliss, then he is the happiest man on Earth.
And by the way, I didn't assume that he was ignorant the second he opened his mouth, when I criticized one of his vids, he called me a homosexual even though I'm straight. Which really goes to show how prejudice he is as well.
I attend OSU and i've sat out there and argued with these guys on several occasions. I've gone out prepared to ask them questions with bible versus in hand and they refuse to speak with you. If you beat them in an argument, they just ignore you and move on to someone else. I am Catholic and I feel that these people give Christians a bad name. I feel theres nothing wrong with handing out bibles or flyers inviting someone to join you in friendly discussion. But condemning people to hell is tomuch

He reached everyone within the sound of his voice. Just because you and most of the world despise the preaching of God's Word, does not change the truth that God loves it very much. No one is chaining the students down to stay there. They could not prove any of their faiths to be authentic. Jesus and the apostles broke bread with sinners, so do we! I go to a catholic school, and i'm an atheist turning Buddist, because their beleif makes more sense, and does not clash with science, but complements it more. Anyways what I have came to the conclusion about christianity is that most of the stories, like adam and eve, were created for simple minded people to understand 4000 years ago. Also, most bible stories are actually plagerised from ancient Mesopotamia. The most important part is the moral lessons, not how things happened.

God is not what we think it is. An omnipotent being watching over us and judging what we do unless we get "saved" then we can do whatever we want is just silly. We are all God and everything around us is us as well, God. The God we create to "worship" is just soul. None of us is better than the other because we are all a part of a whole. I know not everyone agrees with me and that is a wonderful thing because every different experience adds to us all. Love is the most important thing. Love all!

I am not pre commited to anything - I was raised a christian, and was totally committed to it for 27 years. Then I finally started thinking for myself instead of letting other people think for me.
but it's funny also to see how religious people take ANY and EVERY inconsistancy or thing that doesn't make sense in the bible and justify it somehow.
It's very hard for people who have , for lack of a better term, a specific world view. If they have had it a long time, it's hard to give up.

What? No giant cross? No children? ;-) When I attended Oregon State years ago, there was a group that would come 3 or 4 times a year and preach on the quad. They would bring their kids and hold up a giant cross while doing it. They wouldn't even bother arguing with people, they'd just stand there and tell everyone they're going to hell... over and over again!

@MPizzal Let me explain it very simply, so that even you can understand. When I found that God was real, I realized that He said a whole lot of things concerning His return. The main point is that all unbelievers are put to death. Because we love God, we love mankind. Our desire is to convince everyone to make their peace with God so that they are not killed. To do that we use the method that God commanded us to use - preach. When we have given everyone at least one chance, He can return.

I attend OSU and i've sat out there and argued with these guys on several occasions. I've gone out prepared to ask them questions with bible versus in hand and they refuse to speak with you. If you beat them in an argument, they just ignore you and move on to someone else. I am Catholic and I feel that these people give Christians a bad name. I feel theres nothing wrong with handing out bibles or flyers inviting someone to join you in friendly discussion. But condemning people to hell is tomuch

He reached everyone within the sound of his voice. Just because you and most of the world despise the preaching of God's Word, does not change the truth that God loves it very much. No one is chaining the students down to stay there. They could not prove any of their faiths to be authentic. Jesus and the apostles broke bread with sinners, so do we! But, that does not mean Jesus or we approve of the way they are living.

The preaching is designed to expose people and to polarize. I do that quite well.

The student made the mistake of allowing the preacher to insist that the senses are perfectly attuned to the mind. Of course the mind can make reality - that is logic, this is different to mythos which is also created by the mind. Rather, we test our logos against our senses.
