another great video Frank I have passed Hick tower many times over the years with Private railcars I will be doing it again in about a week we will have one on the Lake Shore Ltd going to Niagra falls we leave on the 20th from Chicago and will return on the 24th on the same train it will be a L&N Round End Observation car

I wonder why that Amtrak near the end had both diesels going. Train seemed a little short to need 2 locos. I could understand one being a cab car basically but it looked like they both had smoke coming out.

Another great video! The sheer amount of railroad track in Chicagoland should be enough to blow any railfan's mind, the different tracks go in and out from literally all directions. How do you Chicagoland railfans keep it all straight? I guess when you've lived there long enough, you get to know all of the different rail lines and "hot spots" inside and out...
