@radar711 i think he was(: Elvis Presley was a major influence on the beatles music. i read in a LIFE magazine about John Lennon that Elvis Presley's song Heartbreak Hotel "had been the beacon in the night" for him and that skiffle music was what wanted him to start a band and play guitar.
