@wolfisaac Seriously, trotting is harder than galloping for most learners..get a good teacher, and a good safe horse, get your confidence up, and you will love it-so smooth, and you won't look back-it really isn't difficult confidence is the key-an honest horse, and a lovely open stretch of turf or sand-go for it!

Wow I have to try that sometime with my horse. But the only thing is that my horse gets super competitive and he will run like a racehorse to get up in the front of the pack. He's a professional endurance horse so i think thats why. but he would love it.

I am impressed by the quality of the vid and the horsemanship/ horsewomanship. Your camera work is very steady. Galloping is fun. One time I had an ex-race horse and my daughter's friend started out ahead of me and my ex-race horse and I passed her horse like he was not even going. The ex-race horse is not on my u tube vid. On the video, the small one is Smarty and the taller one is called Cochise. He was good, I could win a lot of novelty events riding him. Like the cowboys say, "Yee, Haw."

Diamond is the horse that is filming. The others were Sir Henry, Spiddle, Princess and Cormack. They are lovely horses although i believe Princess has since been sold bless her.

Believe me we all count ourselves very lucky to be able to do this. We do however work very hard at our riding to enable us to be up to galloping on the beach and we all work very hard to be able to pay to go and do this. This is our once a year treat for the girls.
