I love how angry nerds feel the need to justify why they bought a stupid, slow, crappy PC when Macs are clearly the best computer in every single area.
This video is another prime example of Apple using half-truths and lies to lure customers away. The "Mac genius" is going to transfer all your files over? Does that include your programs? Fonts? Work files? Unless the "files" in question are universal extensions, it is going to be far from a breezy experience.

@rigelagain the only update i have ever paid for was OS X Lion and that was only $30. last time i checked, windows 7 was like $80. and you can change parts all you want. it even tells you how to do it in the manual. and the only real compatibility that i need is sending documents to PC's and Microsoft Office does that amazingly. and apple's legal cases have nothing to do with them making products. so why don't you turn off your virus blocker and go download some shit because nobody likes you.
My Windows 7 PC can't play ANY games well. At all.
And Windows and Mac have their pros and cons. TBH I just hate how Apple is making it like Baby's First Computer in OS X Lion (Integrating iOS into a full PC OS is a no-no!)

@Taking1n1 macs can play games i play cod4, mine craft, etc on mine, and they can do presentations, considering the fact that they can use powerpoint for mac, and keynote. and macs and easily dual boot.
@kannaboom24 office 2003 rules and many people use it, windows 2007/2010 office is very different. People (probably like you) who used 2007/2010 office and not 2003 got used to it and prefered it but other people who use 2003 do not.

The problem with running older versions of any program is that eventually so little people will stop using it that Windows will just straight up stop supporting it and nobody will do anything on their own to make it work. That said, I am. I have an i7 desktop for my high end stuff and a 13" Macbook Pro for work / internet browsing. I've also bootcamped it for playing stuff like L4D, etc. Point is, Macs CAN game. quite easily! That isn't what people buy them for though, and to assume that is fucking retarded :)
BUT they cost alot more plus they're only a bit better at doing work stuff and such. not so much better that you want to pay almost triple the price in some cases for it.

@iCrazinessShow yes, a pc can easily have better graphics than a Mac. the GPU a mac can use is a Radeon HD 5870, whereas windows can run a Radeon 5970, ATI 6850-6870, Asus ARES, etc. all of which beat the crap out of the 5870. (i'd also like to add that the ATI 6000 series is 3D-Gaming Ready, something mac is not.)

That said, I am. I have an i7 desktop for my high end stuff and a 13" Macbook Pro for work / internet browsing. I've also bootcamped it for playing stuff like L4D, etc. Point is, Macs CAN game. quite easily! That isn't what people buy them for though, and to assume that is fucking retarded :)

@xBiokillx Cost is an argument that comes up constantly. It's all relative, though; people live within their means. This isn't levelled at you (no, really it isn't) but I often find that the people moaning about Macs are those that cannot afford them. There are really only two arguments against Macs; they cost too much and they can't game. Sure, they cost more but you get what you pay for (arguably). As for gaming... well, they can! It's a silly argument that needs to be put to bed.

@iCrazinessShow yes, a pc can easily have better graphics than a Mac. the GPU a mac can use is a Radeon HD 5870, whereas windows can run a Radeon 5970, ATI 6850-6870, Asus ARES, etc. all of which beat the crap out of the 5870. (i'd also like to add that the ATI 6000 series is 3D-Gaming Ready, something mac is not.)
