  • the 10th district is corrupt. they do not care about the constitution all they care about is protecting there kiss ass buddies and the laws mean nothing when it comes down to the laws and there buddys.

  • man, i used to love kuchinich.

He was my favorite congressman and the best hope i thought we had for real change.

But when he sold out his principles on the healthcare bill, it broke my heart.

He had said a few days before that the healthcare bill was a sham and a corporate giveaway, then he signs the bill he said "is built on a foundation of sand". All it took was a ride on airforce1 to flip kuchinich. God help america. he was my best hope. but he is not trustable now.

  • @chadmak09

awe don't hold that one thing against him. everything else he is right on. how about an indy ticket of Paul/Kucinich?

  • I going to send some cash to him and others who support this agenda!Ron Paul also! these guys are Americans! the other Guys are all owned and paid for by AIPAC or one of its tentacals!Vote and Support America with a American Agenda!Key congressmen Dick Armey who on Sep.2002 stated "My No.1 priority in foreign policy is to protect Israel." Shit Congressmen Armey.I would think No.1 would be to "protect America". He said israel So you see who is pulling the strings from behind the shroud!Wake up!

  • Thank you Dennis Kucinich. You are my hero. I urge all of you reading this post to watch Democracy Now with Amy Goodman this week. She is showing the testimony of Iraqi veterans this week. What is going on in Iraq horrific.

  • Mr Kucinich please expose the 9/11 cover-up, you have the support of the masses.

PLEASE ADD A PAYPAL PAYMENT SYSTEM TO YOUR WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dear Dennis Kucinich:Thank you for paying for the New Hampshire voter fraud recount, thank you for proposing impeachment in congress, thank you for your honesty and bringing the NAFTA debate back on the table.

I wish you were still in the race. We need good people everywhere in congress. Good luck and I pray America will do more research. Hillary:the movie shows you just how corrupt the Clinton's are and how the corporate media helps to hide their lies.

May all that is good in America help DK.

  • My husband and I wish you the best, because you are the best example of what a truly democratic voice in congress should be! We need you multiplied, to speak for all of us, now and for a long time to come!

  • The Isreal lobby is going after

    Dennis.

  • Congressman Kucinich:

I will send that $100 you ask. I heard your interview on the Jon Eliot show. May I suggest you contact the Barack Obama people....maybe his coatails could help you both.

  • I would love to donate to your Congressional campaign, but I gave every cent I could spare, and some I couldn't to your Presidential campaign. You have my permission to transfer that money, if there is any left, from your Presidential campaign to your Congressional re-election campaign.

  • I hear you husky, unlike the corperations, "thinktanks", and warmongers giving money to a campaign has a real effect on our lives. I think Dennis might have spoke on this. If each of us could save up and give (whatever we can) that we be helpfull.

  • GOD BLESS YOU DENNIS!

  • Guys we need to organize a money bomb For Dennis as we did with Ron Paul. In many ways they are in the same party. What does every boddy think? How can convince the Ron Paul people that we need Kucinich in as well?

  • Kucinich and Paul are on different ends of the spectrum. While they both may speak from there hearts, they have completely different ideas of how to achieve them. I know that they both encourage people, but don't loose site of the message. I'm all for Kucinich but he and Paul would never join forces.

    JW

  • I didn't say they would "join forces". They are both honest people.(unlike the rest) Neither makes their decisions based on what certain lobby's say. We need a money bomb.!

    "

  • I'm a Ron Paul supporter who just donated $100 to Dennis Kucinich's congressional campaign. We need more people in congress like them. Good luck Ron and Dennis in your upcoming primaries.

  • Awesome dwizzlsticks! We can't let the Ron Pual movement die either. The MSM wants us to go away. Note the Establishment. WE ARE NOT GOING AWAY!

  • Ever since I saw Kucinich smack down Alberto Gonzales in regards to his blatant lack of concern for Halliburton hiring illegal immigrants in the rebuilding/recovery of New Orleans I've been a huge fan. I've come to believe that Kucinich is one of the most important people "We The People" have in politics today. I can't vote for him but I'm sure as hell donating. Come on people - re-elect this guy!

  • Money bomb!!

  • dennis is a true hero just like ron paul

  • And Mike Gravel

  • I live in Connecticut and have contributed to Dennis' presidential and now congressional reelection campaign. I wish I could vote for him but I guess that only can happen in Florida. I wish I could do more and encourage others to give what they can. We need his voice in Congress!

  • Dennis we need you in Congress! I'm going over to your site right now.

  • Some hatemonger came and put a thumbs down on all the pro-honesty responses. Shame upon them.

  • Have they been able to raise enough money to put ads on TV to counteract the lying ads the Fascists have run against Kucinich?

  • The ideal President's no longer in the race, Dennis Kucinich, and Corp. America's trying to buy his seat in Congress. It goes to show you that our country's in the hands of terrorists buying the presidency. Today, people try to be politically correct, push dialogue, but don't respect people's opinions/outcries, refuse to resign, and have the law in their pockets. The only way to get things back to normal...Civil War. When everything else fails, human nature is the Law of the Land.

  • You are so right that our country is in the hands of terrorists. They terrorize other countries and they terrorize their own citizens.

  • i'd vote you for

  • This is a good man, and deserves support.

  • agreed. we need more people like dennis, ron paul, gravel in congress and the senate. few honest men exisits, please support him

  • Yes - it's like a new wave of honest men, what a wonderful thing especially important at this time with so much at stake. With you all the way.

  • Not surprising that the Corpocrats have teamed up against Dennis in OH, same as they do against any candidate who supports progressive values, at ANY level of government.

Matt Gonzalez, a Green, ran for mayor of San Francisco in 2003 and lost 52.8-47.2. He was outspent somewhere between 6 to 1 (SF Chronicle) 10 to 1 (City Mayors magazine) by the machine-endorsed Gavin Newsom, a Corpocrat.

    More in the next post.

  • Make no mistake: the Corp's were scared. They called in the big guns and the big money to campaign for Newsom: Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Dianne Feinstein, and Nancy Pelosi. (Remember, this was a campaign for MAYOR.) Even though only 3% of San Franciscans are registered Green, despite the downtown corporate money pouring into Newsom's coffers, the Corpocrats eked out a less than 6% victory margin over Matt.

  • Newsom reportedly spent between $4 and $7 million (depending on how you do the math, and whether City Mayors or the SF Chronicle is right). According to a Green Party news release following the election, Newsom spent $31 per vote. Gonzalez spent $4.

That's what we're up against, all across the country. Best of luck, Dennis, we're behind ya.

  • Dear Dennis: Okay, I've donated twice ($250) and hope that helps. I also hope those who support Kucinich will turn your attention to the defeat of Pelosi and Conyer's so we not only keep outstanding people like Kucinich in office, but we remove those who serve as barriers in preventing this country from making real progress, bringing real change and demanding full accountability. Enough is enough. Let's make sure the Democratic Leadership gets the message load and clear this election year.

  • What just happened?

    Romney pulled out?

What you just saw was the famous Republican unity at work.

I urge the Left to unify behind HRC. I ask Kucinich to endorce HRC. Will DK? No way. Will the Greens? No way.

That is why we are going to get Prez. MaC for 8 years.

Look at how unified the Right is. HRC will be easier to pressure than MaC. For the future of woman's rights I hereby endorse HRC.

  • You want the war to continue? Vote HRC. She is the same as McCain in that regard. Neither of them will get my vote.

  • Dennis has been there for us. He was shafted in the pres. primary, buy big biz. He behaved, as always with dignity & integrity. NOW HE NEEDS OUR HELP. We cannot afford to lose this extraordinary man from the US Congress where he has fought for all of us for many years. Where ever you live, give now. I live in Florida, I've always had great respect & gratitude for Dennis. Dennis is OUR voice in Congress. Dennis cannot be bought or pressured. Dennis has never been afraid to speak the truth.

  • Dennis has brought the same economic vitality to the 10th district that he brought to the city of Cleveland as Mayor. He has transformed the 10th district into an area of higher paying jobs and upscale homes. The standard of living of his constituents has steadily increased throughout his tenure. Pay for results! Put Dennis back in Congress!

  • This is absolutely disgusting. The deceptive corporate media will NOT succeed in keeping peace loving people from having a say in the political world. And Ron Paul is proof of this.

Please donate for Dennis and keep light shining.

  • Mainstream Media controls the message. Dennis is a threat to the truth. He fights for the people, for real health care, for holistic care, for a Department of Peace to fight bullies in the schools and in society. Dennis has been hushed and bullied because he follows his duty as Congressman to act on impeachment, fighting for us. We, the people - of the United States support Dennis as he works to keep our voice free. don't let Joe steal your vote or intimidate our true Congressman.

  • I live in Oregon, am under employed (PT job)and barely getting by selling books online to meet living expenses. Yet, I've been looking for a way to give something every month. I'm going to donate $10 tonight and more as soon as I can and every month during Dennis's campaign. My own congressperson does not need my help and by helping Dennis, I'll be doing my part to help my country. This is like tithing for me, but I decide where to spend it. Also - everyone should SUBSCRIBE to this acct.

  • It was a sad moment when you withdrew. Could you not have suspended your campaign so we could vote for you in NOV.

I'm sending you 100 to help keep you in Congress.

  • I contributed $25 ... Dennis speaks the truth to power. We cannot afford to allow big wigs and Democratic party power-mongers, to remove his voice!

  • I'm unemployed but I gave. We need to keep Dennis in Congress. We are heading into terribly dangerous times, with the fate of the planet at stake. The Democratic Party has largely folded, Obama is mostly smoke and mirrors, and Bush still has some powerful moves left to make - such as bombing Iran. But the people are with us on the issues. We need good leaders and good communications. Dennis is the best we have, and we need to rally round and defend him. We need him for the hard years ahead.

  • I donated and hope to give more. THis man is a real american hero!

He has been right all along.

    Mr. Integrity!!

  • You people in Ohio are so lucky to have a guy as principled as Dennis Kucinich in Congress. That guy definitely has your best interest in mind.

  • I am giving one hundred dollars right now...you should also

  • We can't lose Dennis from congress! Kucinich has called Bush's BS for the last 7 years. Congressmen like Kucinich are our last hope to save this country. I'll shoot some cash your way.

  • You convinced me Dennis, here's what I have now and I'll raise some more. Peace.

  • "I need you to contribute at least $100..."

    oh yeah?

  • If you are able to spend the money and do not then you are a fool.

  • I gave you a few bucks!!! sorry it wasnt more..but I really hope it helps!!!!! YOU Are Great! Peace

  • Done and done. Give Dick Cheney a big fat shitburger to eat on Election Day. Send a few bucks Dennis' way!

  • I was just getting his word out & speading it as fast as I could. Wish I would've had signs & been able to open a base in NY. We can't lose this man. We have to help, & fight harder!

  • dennis is great. should have been the choice.

  • This video talks about how Dennis dropped out:

    watch?v=U1eCQvMBx7A

    Very thought provoking.

  • Wow, I'll bet T H O U G H T isn't a word you use frequently. So..., do us all a favor and don't leave your house to vote. You might even

try spending the time wisely, like looking up voting records to see who was right the first time. Or figuring out who's making money hand over fist by killing innocent people in your

name. But why start now? PS This is not American Idol, You're on the wrong channel.

  • Nice try, freed. Go back to your Dancing with the Stars, if that's the extent of your cognitive abilities. For the record, I've called, blogged and donated for Dennis. He was absolutely my top pick. (Edwards and Dodd pretty close for next.) OTOH, newguineafan's video was tasteless, shallow, puerile and pointless -- pretty much like your comment. Why don't the two of you head for the sandbox and leave the grownups alone for a while?

  • If you're not registered at the Cleveland Plain Dealer website, do it to help defend Dennis from the smear campaign being held there on its blogs. The content is stupid, easy to counter.

  • Dennis for Congress 2008!

    Dennis for President 2012!

  • I don't have $100, but I'll give you what I can, Dennis. :)

  • i understand this short term financial campaign, but ultimately progressives will never win against corporations in the cash battle. we need to find a way to take the influence of cash out of politics! but for now, you gotta do what you gotta do...

  • I <3 you, Dennis. I don't have much, but I'll give what I can.

This is one of the only honest people left in Congress. Please, don't let us lose him. Help out.

  • This is the only person who has the courage and commitment to tell the truth and whose voting record 100% puts his money where his mouth is. If he were in power every citizen would have health care, we would have not trillion dollar debt (most of the money borrowed use to pay Bush's friends like Blackwater) to China for a war against a nation that never threatened us. People like Kucinich keep hope alive for those of us who don't depend on the corporate media for disinformation.

  • WE WANT YOU FOR PRESIDENT NOW!

  • Gravel Kucinich Paul Nader -

    The truth is powerful.

  • Stop Media now!

Submit your Impeachment ballot and demand a clean election and keep Dennis in office!

    Impeach to keep Dennis!

    Happy 420,

    Matt

  • This guy is a FDR real deal. A true progressive. Gonna take that stimulas tax rebate and support progressive canidates. might be the change that the powers didn't expect if we all contribute something.

  • I'm a long-time Kucinich supporter, and I understand the urgency of this situation and will contribute. However, I'd like to offer this constructive criticism: asking for $100 *if possible* is fine, but this video makes it seem as if $100 contributions is all he's interested in receiving. Congressman Kucinich needs to realize that most of his support will come in $25 or $50 contributions, or even smaller amounts. He needs to take this into account and adjust his appeal accordingly.

  • Agreed. I'll donate $25 if you do?

  • My two-person household sent in $50 yesterday.

  • I'm sending $100.

  • I gave $25.00 :( Not much, but I hope helps. He's the ONLY one suggesting these ideas.

  • We are to blame. We gave Big Corps the power. The answer is simple. STOP BUYING UNECCESSARY THINGS! Big Corps. stopped Dennis from debating. Remember Rosa Parks when she would not get back on the bus? Most African Americans did the same. And they sure did listen to them then! Hit them in the pocket book!! No need for violence. We can do it!

  • We people of Butte Montana need you in Congress. Thanks for your valiant educational run for President.

  • Run again in 2012. I will do anything and everything to see you get elected president. Anything.

  • Check your facts, he has one of the best attendance records!

  • Mr. Kucinich, you had my support from the beginning. It's sad to see that you've left the race, though I understand why.

Democracy is dead in America. I respect your bid to run again for congress, but personally, I've lost hope. Perhaps you could work with other nations to ease immigration restrictions for progressive Americans. Our country doesn't want us, and I, for one, am ready to leave.

  • This is a world wide takeover. Here in the U.S. we have the most power to fight it, we, my friends are on the front lines. That is an honor and a responsibility. If all the awake and peaceful hard working people leave then who will be left to inspire, educate and affect things here? Gandhi Gi said to sing your song of truth and if no one sings with you then walk alone, walk alone.

  • It is a sad day for our country when the only candidate that is truly for the people is forced out of his bid for president by the media and big business, because he wanted to return this country back to the people. I wish Dennis the best of luck in his re-election bid to the U.S. congress, as we need someone like him to stand up for the rights of the common man, it's too bad we don't have more members of congress willing to do the same. Go Dennis, we need you to continue to fight for us.

  • Search "Chamber of Commerce vows to punish anti-business candidates" for Jan 8 story.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce vowed to defeat candidates with a "populist" message.

When you see Kucinich or Edwards being mocked on the corporate media, remember the U.S. Chamber of Commerce takes them very seriously.

  • Congressman Kucinich, sad to hear you dropped from the presidential campaign. You got short changed at every turn by the media. You are truly a great American. America needs more people like you in public service.

  • Gladly contribute a hundred and I'll get more too. Dennis for Speaker of the House!

  • OK Dennis, my contribution is on its way. I wish I could shake your hand for representing me so well in the Presidential race. And now I need to help keep you in Congress. I--we--owe you a huge debt of gratitude for speaking the truth. And deepest gratitude for allowing millions of us to have just a little bit less cynicism about the value of the democratic process. Long may you continue.

  • People: We MUST contribute to this campaign. If we do not succeed in rebuttal of the corporate attacks on the one person who we can count on to be our voice in Congress........You may not have much; contribute whatever you can and go boldly to your friends and family and patiently explain why this is so necessary. We CAN DO IT!

  • imaynardq;

First of all get the name right - it's Kucinich not Kuchinich. Second, what is your criteria for someone to run for president? Third, congressman Kucinich stands up for what this country desperately needs in it's political leaders; honesty, integrity and the good of the country. And actually it is fortunate he does not have constituents like you. You sound like a stereotypical right winger.

Good on ya Dennis, keep up the fight. This country needs more people like you.

  • We love you Dennis!

  • You are my personal hero Dennis!

    .

    All,

    .

When Dennis asked for help with this attack it is really clear that he wouldn't have asked if it was not very important to the MOST of us here in the USA keeping him in Congress.

    .

    OHIO,

    .

Keep this very valuable member of congress there representing MOST ALL of us. I jealous that he doesn't represent us here in Fairport, NY

    .

  • if kucinich is on the ballot in your state please still vote for dk we're voting for the issues & beliefs in the primary, lets send a message to washington saying, this is what we want, we're still voting for dennis, plus we still need to campaign for his house seat, thats vital!!

  • Completely agreed with you ... Dennis Kucinich still speaks for me ... in S. CA

My vote is going to count ... count for Dennis!!!

  • Dennis, You're a hero!

  • The people of Ohio's 10th district should be proud of having the only Congressman who cares about the American people. He never blindly followed Bush on the quest to conquer the Middle East. He talked about Impeachment because members of congress will never talk about it. And he introduced a bill that would give universal health insurance to Americans. If people in Ohio doesn't recognize his accomplishments, that's their fault. Dennis Kucinich is a man with integrity.

  • Why do you have to lie like that? Dennis has one of the BEST attendance records in Congress. He shows up for more than 98% of the votes, much more often than most if not all Congressman. Tell me, did Cimperman tell you do do this because this sounds like another one of Cimperman's tactics against Mr. Kucinich.

  • Corporate money should not be allowed to create fictitious realities unchallanged. My wife and are sending $300 now. Dennis is our voice in congress, we can't allow that voice to be silenced.

  • Wow ... thank you so much ... from another American.

Please folks ... if you can afford anything ... a couple of less Brand name coffees ... no candy this week ... please help Dennis in Ohio to stay in congress, so he can continue the good fight .... for truth ... for accountability in the people, who are supposed to represent us!

  • Thanks to everyone who is donating. It is a sad state of politics, when Corporations are trying to keep him out of office because of the dollar bill. HR 676 the Not for Profit health care bill, would save money for everyone but the "for profit" insurance companies. I guess they are using their 30% profit to try to keep Dennis out of office on all levels. That shows you how much is stands up for the people and does not bow the the Corporate dollar. We the people need to save his seat in Congress!

  • Kucinich eloquently defends rights of everyday citizens, speaking on our behalf when the rest of our leaders have failed us, bought off by special interest groups or fear of failure. Of course big corporate interests are doing their best to silence his message and undercut his reputation. He is what their money can't buy - an honest man. We keep Dennis in office so he will be there for us, speaking truth to power. Without David, Goliath runs rampant. That way lies the death of hope.

  • Not only is Dennis one of the most truthful voices in America, but he also possesses courage and strength beyond most men of the 20th and 21st centuries. A rare man he is. He has the ability and determination to make change happen. This is why some corporations and the status quo hate him so much.

  • Dennis is real and true and the only person running for president that I can honestly vote for with confidence. He WILL do what he says he will do. He is truly a man of the people. His congressional voting record proves that. We need to do all in our power to keep him in congress and elect him president.

  • I just made a $1,000 contribution. Give whatever you can. We need this man in office.

Did you hear? He's going to present articles of impeachment against Bush the same day as Bush's last State of the Union Address. Poetic Justice!

  • Dennis's defense of the constitution with its bill of rights, the principal of peace with all peoples, co-authorship of H.R.676, his bills H.R.1234 to end the war in Iraq, and H.R.333 to impeach Cheney attest to his bravery, intelligence, and hard work as a congressman. He speaks in the interests of ordinary people and must continue to be our voice in American government!

  • "his bills H.R.1234 to end the war in Iraq, and H.R.333 to impeach Cheney attest to his bravery, intelligence, and hard work as a congressman."

Sponsoring a bill that actually PASSES and becomes law is a testament to bravery, intelligence and hard work.

  • I'd donate to Kucinich if I wasn't living in Canada, but I'll do what i can. Strength through peace, Go Kucinich!

  • My family members and I are pooling our money together, again, tonight. We've given throughout this year, because this man is the real deal. His integrity is unwavering, and we need him. Please give what you can! Dennis4President . com

  • Dennis Kucinich is a TRUE American who does more for the people of this country and OHIO than any other Congressman. I'll do whatever I can to help him because he's the only hope for this country --- even if people are too ignorant and childish to realize that.

  • We need more people in office like him. Dennis only wants what is best for our health and country.

The worst thing that could happen to our Nation is not to have Dennis in Congress, and hopefully as our next President. We have to stand up against the Corporate dollar influnce, and show our support for Dennis who has been working hard doing the same. Give what you can, I am giving as much as I can!I am pleding as an RN!

  • You've got it right, Nurse2heal!! I second everything you said. I'm giving, too. Kucinich is the most unselfish persons I have ever had the good fortune to meet. He thinks of others before himself.

  • Don't blame Kucinich, blame NAFTA. As for the foreclosures, don't blame Kucinich, blame the banks, Wall Street and the Fed.

    Get real.

  • I lost my job, but I'll give what I can. You are the best Dennis!!!

  • Based on the quality of the e-mail, I suspect it's all too genuine.

  • Go Dennis! Support you 100%

  • WARNING: Based on the professional quality of the email sent out linking to this video, there is a good chance this email is a scam. (The email states that Congressman Kucinich is under attack and needs donations, up to $1000, to pursue a congressional campaign) DO NOT click on any links in that email or call any phone numbers to donate.

Instead, go to a trusted Dennis Kucinich website or phone number and find out how to donate from there.

  • It's not a scam. DK is running for re-election to Congress and needs financial help to combat the corporate interests.

    Peace.

  • Yes, all apologies and I'm an idiot. I posted before I watched the clip. The email just seemed very sketchy to me and the links redirected to another site. I've never seen a candidate ask for $100 or $1000 explicitly before.

  • Thank you for apologizing. This race is a special case. Dennis has been serving this district as Congressman for many years. The work he has done in Congress for all of us in the U.S. has been tremendously important -- introducing the legislation that matters most. Normally, getting re-elected is not a problem but this time he got blind-sided by a last minute challenger heavily financed by Corporate interests. These are the same interests that got him cut out of the Presidential debates.

  • [con't from previus post]

The above explains why he is asking for $100 donations and for help from each supporter to spread the word enough to raise $1000. He has little time, and even the outside owned mega-corporate newspaper in his hometown is not helping him.

I live in another state, but we all need him for the role he plays for us in the U.S. Congress.

  • At least Kucinich stands for principles that aren't in place only to get his friends rich at the expense of American lives like Bush.

  • Then who should run for the president, Hillary, Obama or Edwards? I would rather pay

attention to his message, and or agenda. Also, does it mean that only those who posses millions of dollars are supposed to run

for the president, or the ones who proved to

be the leaders for the common good of people? And for the end, what does Democracy means?

Is it just a Playground for rich?

  • he's done a tremendous job pushing the national agenda away from its disastrous course. there is no way crooked bastards are kicking him out of congress. it's our own failure not to recognize that he would help us out so much more than the "top tier' candidates for presidency.
