@suzyq38381 Forza 3 has a clutch option. Old Need For Speeds didnt. So it was easy to just push a button and shift.

@Rojay1990 actually it depends on the car(motor i should say), an ls1 camaro hits the "soft" redline at 5500 but most people took them up to 6k on stock motor and it did make a difference. before heads and cam i was running 12.8s with just exhaust taking it to 6k instead of only 5.5k. 2 years of that at the track and had no engine problems

you must have never drag raced before because if u actually have a good engine it can handle redline most engines can handle redline and not blow if they are high performance like in the trans-am and chevy camaro you can redline shift like i do in my trans am and it does in a way make you shift faster keeping higher RPM so learn more before you want to act smart

@carboy2278 first off you shouldn't even be talking to be because it seems like you can't spell like most people on Youtube. Second off when your drag racing you want to stay in your power band at higher RPM's and if you have a nice V8 engine and not some shitty little Honda you wont have any problems with this, and just because you redline or get close to redline don't mean your going to blow your engine, yes it puts stress on the engine but mostly wont do damage unless you redline for 30min

Also on the 1/4 mile you're wasting time you dont have when you redline in second gear. Shift when your at higher rpm's but keep up a constant acceleration where as at redline you top out.

if any one wants to race straight up, in any car class you like weather its straight RWD, or Sketchy FWD, and a few of the AWD cars, any class and any car other than The Bugatti Datsun 510, and I think skyline, lest its RWD converted. the best car for drag i've seen is the datsun. the car is only 22,000 but when you upgrade it all the way and tune it, and gets 21's, and supposedly 20's. But it may be the cheapest but maybe best drag car.

The car`s performance index goes from 797 to 808 depeding on the upgrades, because I don`t know exactly what`s the best combination.

Right now I did 9.897 with it. But the tuning is kinda poor, if you can help me, I would apreciate it

I don`t know yet. Multiplayer is a lot of fun but I don`t have the money for a new one right now. Somebody told me to delete the firmware and cause an E65 error, wich is accepted at guaranty, but I don`t know if it`s true. I don`t want to risk by making it get RROD or some other ireversable thing.

I don't like the drag racing on this game. Its impossible to get traction in any car. Also, if you just wanna have some fun at the strip in test track well the clock starts as soon as it loads the track which is completely retarded for drag racing. Otherwise, I love this game.
