Collar OFF, pups can get caught in there later! Clear nose and mouth of puppy with bulb syringe and use a warm towel to dry the puppy. Clamp the cord, she can chew it too short and make it bleed. Don't wait for Mum for all of this!! You want to hear a hearty cry. Then give the puppy back to her and get the pup on to nurse, it also helps stimulate more contractions for the other pups coming. NO OTHER DOGS nearby! You don't want to stress Mum.
