It's a good clip but i feel is overly depressive, it makes the guy look pathetic! It gets a little boring because of the long takes. I think it is good but i feel like the song doesn't exactly refer to someone who became a complete loser when that someone left but instead to someone that moved on with a life only that there is just this one person missing.

While I agree with your interpretation of the song I feel that, though perhaps not as effectively as I could have, I did capture the essence of moving on. If you'll notice toward the end of the video, our hero (who is actually me! haha) 'moves on' as visualized by walking away down the railway tracks and also, the very end when he takes the keys out of the ignition, some colour returns to the otherwise bluish tinted world. 1/2

Unfortunately that effect coupled with a camera angle that's rather colourless anyway made the whole thing not really as effective as I would have liked. As mentioned before, this was a video that was done spur the moment and without ANY planning in about 4 hours. There are TONS of things I would do differently but such is the nature of the beast! Yeah... all hindsight... I did this video about 3-4 years ago on a whim one boring Saturday. I grabbed my brother, asked him if he wanted to 'make a video' and he said he would and out we went. So lack of planning is evident in this video. I was happy with how well it turned out, notwithstanding all the aforementioned. :) Thanks for your comments!
