  • sooo awesome

Chris has the best voice ever

    and the coolest hair

looks abit like Vince Chase here

  • Chris + Alain + Natasha juntos en escena = Experiencia orgásmica. Afortunados quienes pudieron verlos en directo en la gira promocional del E. Morning!

  • Right before the video ends you can hear the start of "Heavy" from the Eleven album Avantgardedog.. ;))

  • You can tell Dave loved that ! Who wouldn't ? I was lucky enough to see them at the 9:30 club in D.C. when they toured this album and they were just amazing . Best live show I've ever seen . R.I.P. Natasha , you were awesome .

  • they work better together than the guys from RATM. i saw this lineup a year later in denver opening for QOTSA. AWESOME show.

another interesting factoid: rik markmann does some occasional work on the hit kids series Yo Gabba Gabba. (i have 3 little ones...hence why i know this...heh)

  • Doesn't get any better than this!

  • this Dave Letterman dude might be old but he sure knows good music when it's in his hand

  • awesome song, but in some places of this live performance, you can already hear the damage on his voice, especially at the chorus :(

  • NOT Jack Irons

  • He bears a freakish resemblance to Michael Jackson in this video.

  • what happened to her?

  • @lilnetty2 she died sadly :/

    RIP

  • Natasha had such great sense of timing... and Jack Irons too - wow

  • Chris Cornell used to be cool, but his newest stuff (Scream) is just crap. He needs to revisit his roots and quit trying to be so radio friendly.

  • @Doyalsan he is back in Soundgarden since last year. DUH!

  • Is it any wonder Josh Homme grabbed Johannes as his foil for TCV. The guy has genius written all over him. Hell of a writing combo.

  • @daverlb Josh and Alain have known each other for a loooong time.

  • i remember watching this the night that it aired. i was so blown away and impressed that he abandoned the grunge / metal thing. it is all so quite deliberate, the trepidation, but if there was ever a true supergroup, a meeting of talent and songwriting acumen, this was it. really, in their shoes i would trade his entire career for this one performance. i think that it was the pinnacle of his potential for artistic greatness. everything about this is perfect.

  • Cornell looks like a pissed off Arnold Horshack here :O)

  • Euphoria Morning is pure brilliance. And Chris Cornell is pure genius. x0x0x

  • Natasha where always in the background supporting. I guess she didn`t care about the fame thing (bless her soul), but i always get wistfull and deep when i think about how much potential and talent she had compared to so many "fron figures". Chris got an amazin voice, but Natasha never got the chance to show to the world that she had maybe even a better voice -and compared to Josh Homme, oh man how embarrising to know that SHE sould be in front not Josh!

Natasha, you are in my soul....

  • @fremmed1 She sings in some Eleven and Desert Sessions songs. Indeed, an awesome artist, without a doubt. Love her, Alain, Josh and all those friends. Rest in peace.

  • Cornell is a fucking genius to have recruited Eleven to help write Euphoria Morning (arguably one of the greatest albums he's ever done) AND tour as his backing band.

  • sept of 1999 when the album came out.

  • @ExclaimedMusic this is from 1999,and Natasha died in 2008

  • @ExclaimedMusic 8 years b4 Natasha died

  • I thought Josh Freeze was the drummer for this entire album except Disappearing One?

  • I would give anything to have seen Chris and Eleven tour as a band together. RIP Natasha

  • the best record...my G-d

    8oo ooo copies...

    IT CAN BE?

  • this was the best band by far to back up chris in his solo career

  • love that song

  • que me perdone el batero pero a esta version le falta el groove de josh freeze

  • Euhporia Morning was his best, IMO.

  • does any body think Alain sounds a little bit like Cat Stevens in this?

  • eleven>cornell

  • i don't think he wants to be there

  • It seems Chris tries too hard to control his voice, he doesnt look very relaxed, seems kinda stiff

  • Alain johannes is the best

  • Without Alain and Natasha Euphoria Morning would have turned out like... well, anything else Cornell attempted solo. (ouch)

Johannes's guitar tones are just sublime, and they're such good writers. Howling Book and Avantegardedog I love in particular.

  • @opsin The reason Chris sucks now is because of Chris, not because of someone else. The great vocals and lyrics on EM had nothing to do with Eleven. Additionally Cornell's arrangements in Soundgarden were amazing. So whilst I think Eleven was the best band (post-SG) he ever had, their absence can't expalin his declining output.

  • @artisthespoonman Audioslave is the best band he has had!!! despite the health of his voice!!!

  • @artisthespoonman man fuck u son

  • I want to be part of a great credible rock band like Eleven.

  • @Chiboy00 lol tell me about it you and me both

  • Always great to see Natasha

  • is that Irons drumming? Haven't seem him since the early live chili peppers videos.

  • No, Greg Upchurch.

  • Its Greg?! Cool!

I didnt know he played with Chris..

  • Comment removed

  • It is not Jack Irons.

  • @saksalainenreika irons drums on pearl jam's no code and that tour, he's on their letterman appearance in 96 and recorded yield with them too. someone correct me if i'm wrong

  • who would of known that 3 years later an amazing band would emerge and create wonderful music! to our ears!! "audioslave"!!!!! :)

  • I love Soundgarden dearly, but the greatest music Chris Cornell ever made with was Alain and Natasha.

  • Alain's tone on that guitar is just... Mind Blowing.

  • the whole album is about heroin...duh!!

  • You can see Chris is having difficulty?!? He looks exactly the way he always does, hes having no difficulty.

  • I LOVE this song, esp the acoustic version

  • natasha talked chris into making this album. imagine if she didn't? i listened to this album everyday for like 2 years. its highly addictive. i was so happy i cried when chris finally taught his funny little fan band how to play these songs and he played them live for the first time in years. then he topped it off with "like suicide" and i almost fainted.

  • how come no eleven on youtube?

  • TheEllisonBird has a lot of cool 11. I subscribed to him not too long ago because he has lots of 11 and Queens and Kyuss.

  • Natasha sounded good.

  • what happen with his hair?!

  • nat :(

  • thanks eleven !

cornell is not out of tune this time ! lucky day.

i 've seen soundgarden, audioslave and euphoria morning live and i've to say cornell was fortunate to be surrounded by good musicians

  • It doesn't hurt that he's one himself.

  • best solo album ever written !

  • mark lanegan's bubblegum

  • agreed.

  • @TRIUMV

Where is the super like button???

  • His vocals were shot ... though he sings better than I could even with his shot vocals on his worse day. It is a good song but it is a chick song.

Nothing wrong with that at all ;-)

  • You can see that Chris is having difficulty moron.

    No need for hating.

  • I love this song and I have a dick.

  • Cornell seems a little nervous. That keyboard looks huge too.

  • RIP Natasha

  • Yeah man. RIP Natasha. Gotta love how much work she's done

  • eleven made this album great...CC's gone down hill since...I mean Audioslave? please...and his new stuff with Timbaland is just plain cheesy...too bad

  • i agree he is still amazin here.. audioslave wasnt bad but definately nothing compaired to this... and yeah his new stuff sucks straight up fuck

  • Agree. Every Cornell album since has been below par.

  • yeah this album is actually very good :) it was interesting side of Cornell. Though personally I don't think Audioslave was a mistake, it was a good experience and he left and closed the band before it could turn into something ugly... just look at his last 2 solo albums... what the hell?

  • i have this one on my dvd:)

  • best solo album I've ever heard in my life!!!!!!!!!

  • amazing

  • Natasha was always beautiful, but when I found out about her age, my jaw dropped. What a loss.

I found out about her death a few days back and had no clue about her passing.

    RIP.

  • ohh ok, thats weird, cuz i remember when it came out, all they said was that its chris cornells solo album or debut whatever, so they never mentioned a band with him. but thats interesting cuz i didnt know it would be eleven with him. im Queens fan so i wasnt familiar with alain or natasha until about 3 yrs ago

  • wow natasha and alain look real different, well he does, she still kinda looks the same.. wow, i remember this song on the radio wen it came out, like 10 years ago, but i didnt know eleven had anything to do with it

  • The whole album is just CC with Eleven.

  • Who's the drummer in this video? I know Josh Freese played drum on Euphoria Morning, except one track with Greg Upchurch...

ANd the drummer looks like Greg Upchurch

  • Greg Upchurch. He hadn't left Eleven yet.

  • thanks :)

  • is that guy who played at the albums that Jack Irons were not in?

  • Jack did a lot of the drums and some of the songs were done by Matt Camron from Soundgarden. I know greg was the drummer that was on tour with them for Thunk and CC's album but I don't think he did studio drumming on the recordings. They used a drum machine on avant and greg went to puddle of mudd before the last album.

  • Greg is credited at the drums in avantgardedog album

  • I'm pretty sure Greg didn't play drums on Euphoria Morning.

Josh Freese played on every song except for Sweet Euphoria and Disappearing One. Sweet Euphoria was all acoustic and Disappearing One features Matt Cameron on drums.

  • Natasha was the keyboard player for Eleven. She is in this footage. She died from cancer about a month ago.

  • Wow. Well then indeed rest in peace Natasha.

  • Thank you for uploading this. R.I.P. Natasha.

  • RIP Natasha?

  • Unfortunately so...

She will be missed, as she was a really talented girl
