I did not like the Revlon lip stain at all. The balm broke the first time I used it and the stain is way too dry. I did notice that Walgreen's was selling the Jordana lip glosses for $.50 each and I got the Lovely color along with 4 others. I am really impressed with the quality!! Sooo smooth!!

emily...you need to get jack black lip balm in lemon chamomile. it puts the EOS one in lemon to shame.

I may be mistaken but I have read somewhere that lip balms with an oil base will actually break down the lip stain you use under it. Many of the 2 in 1's are formulated to avoid that. I still do what you suggested but I try and make sure the balm isn't oil based. It basically acts as a makeup remover.
