Printing a list of 'best colleges' purely on the grounds of job placements is as idiotic as printing a list of 'best foods' purely on the grounds of calorific content. It tells you nothing.
Check out the true color of Indian system, the 3rd most corrupt country according to Transparency International, the country with maximum number of hungry and poor people, the country that has 50% children suffering from malnutrition, and so on
I feel sorry for Narayan for trying to squash free speech and calling fair criticism of a imperfect system "ungrateful". He sounds like an idiot saying it.
@aphroditepandora This generally happen when you pass-out of a school like IIT. People like Narayan tend to start believing they know the most of everything. He indirectly reiterates Mahesh Manjerekars point that we place students and their achievements according to their rank and the school they go to.
I hate the host of the program - she talks really loudly and annoyingly.
And, I think there IS something wrong with the system, but it's probably not as bad as the film shows it, but there definately IS a problem with the system - the strong pressures put on students really aren't something to aspire to; as a former student of the system, I can attest to that.
the point abt "u can't just watch a movie and give entire system a bad name"..the reason people think it is fair to give the entire system a bad name s becz thr is a higher percentage of students who feel pressured...abt being eng or doc!!!! So it is seen so often that thr needed to be a movie made like this!!
why in the presence of such intelligent eople, do we have laloo and karunanidhi and raj thacekerey making decisions for us. Indians nned to enter politics, decent people.....all of us cannot be einsteins, there is no point doing engineering if you are not cut out for it.
Wow....the Alumni from IIT (Narayan) in the end brings out really positive and good points. He is right, you can't just watch a movie and give the entire system a bad name.
