@MrBill297 Doesn't have a FA either. It's probably the Smith and Wesson M&P 15 sport. Great rifle, just lacking a couple components for cost. And whoever was holding the rifle in the video NEEDS TO EXTEND THE STOCK AND STOP CHICKEN WINGING LIKE AN IDIOT
@MrBill297 because its a way for companies to save money making the uppers, he also has no forward assist, i bought a s&w m&p15 sport it came the same way just get a new upper problem solved, i have a new vltor mur1a and saved money by doing so.
@misoharny but a paintball red dot off amazon. they magnify and since they arnt technically for guns, they cost less. However that doesnt mean they have bad quality, they just need to be sighted in.
It usualy does mean bad quality if they are cheap. Quality in the sence of durable. Or they wont hold a zero due to it just drifting or by the recoil.
For the money, its a great optic. Check the multitude of positive reviews at midwayusa. It is heavy and in the presence of a real ACOG, you feel a little dorky. But its a rock solid red-dot that delivers.
It's is fine.. no issues. The price is reasonable for this type of optic. I am not happy with the current set up I have. I need to get a riser for the flat top. Like this... you can see the front sight. When its on the carry handle, it's too high.
why are you shooting with the stock collapsed all the way? It looks like the LOP Is way too short for you.

Looks like DPMS Sportical? They do not come with dust covers or forward assists. Good starter AR-15.

I'm looking into buying a red dot and I was wondering if that scope has any magnification or not, I can't seem to find a straight answer.
misoharny 1 year ago
All of theeconomical red dots I have seen do not have any magnification. Trijicon does offer a 2x and 4x but they are $1000 and up.

@misoharny No magnification. I got the same scope a few days ago, and there's no eye relief so you need a front sight.
