i would use a funky keyboard riff like the Stevie Wonder Superstition riff played on a clav / rhodes keyboard. If not stevie wonder then just pick up a generic funk riff from the net and use that (all u need is 5 to 10 secs and possibly fade it off if u can find a riff that fits perfectly)
i dunno if this is cool but what about faith of the heart from enterprise? its catchy, and it's pretty easy to find an appropraiate part to use as your theme.

You could use the Giantbomb[.]com opening, you can find it at the beginning of any Giantbomb feature. You might want to ask the staff first, though.
