@kingpinlwf i know what you mean, but.. if he feels the track needs lyrics he only has one voice to sing with. which probably explains the distortion.
i hate paul's bands wings and fireman they kind of suck. I think paul should just go solo, but maybe after the hangover from the beatles i can't except this music whatever you guys probably think i'm a dick and i probably am.
because it's not hardly played anywhere..or at all for the matter..it was more of an underground thing that Macca did..plus since "Fireman" was his pseudynym it never really sold..not quite sure but thats what it seems like to me :) hope i helped ^ ^
@BeatleMonkeegirl15 - Speak for yourself - I bought this album on import in 1998. I've played it on my radio show a lot. Search Music For Listeners Mid-Morning Recording. It's number 36 on that page. I played it in its entirety on the radio in April 2001. I actually bought the first Fireman album the day it came out as well. It's certainly not as good as this masterpiece.
@cardboerd The recordings from the first two albums didn't have his name on them so only a certain few people knew of the project. I happened to stumble upon a blurb about it in Rolling Stone of all places in 1993. When I found out about this release in 1998, I was astounded to find a copy of it at my nearest CD store, UK import, pre-U.S. Release, sealed for 5.99. :) I have every Fireman release and this was my favorite album 1998. <---period
I like Fireman music when you don't know Paul is in it. As soon as I hear Pauls voice I instantly think well another Paul McCartney song.
