The first 32 minutes of the movie may bore you. It took me YEARS to be able to sit through the first 32 minutes and get to the rest of the movie. It seems to be the director's plan- take you from you current reality, make things hazy and bland, and then BAM hit you with surreal color emphasis from this point in the movie forward. Just look how red the reds are and how white the whites are in this vid clip.

Just to share, the singing moon is actually Alessandro Safina, an italian operatic tenor. He has sung with Sarah Brightman before. You can always trust director Baz Luhrmann to be flamboyant in his interpretation. I felt very sad at the end of the movie to. It's another version of Romeo and Juliet, they can only be together in death.
