  • That girl is too beautiful to exist

  • Finally, a song that is not crappy!!! I love Chris, and I love Soundgarden and Audioslave, but i was laughting with "A part of me", jajajaj, still laughting!

  • And BTW the vilolence depicted in the vid is a message of anti-violence and the damage violence can do to our minds and our stability

  • "I have the brains not to think at all....but the rain got it and I thought to hard!" THIS LINE DEFINES THE CHAOS OF LIFE TODAY TO ME

  • HICHCKOCK

  • stuped

  • awesome lyrics, vocals, music!!

  • arta de los putos anuncios de vevo ¡¡¡

  • great song

  • kick ass :)

  • they are AWESOME!!!

  • violence is awful..stop killing meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • man so much violence...horrible

  • Man dude they really suck! Ha idk in my opinion itz jst ..... hella stupid lik ewe itz realllllyyyy bad D:

  • @MixxieProductions101 Sorry, I know this was posted 2 months ago, but I'm legit curious, who are some of your favorite bands or artists?

  • Talvez perder ou salvar a sua alma

Seja apenas uma questão de como você preenche o vazio

  • what a nice song.. and we like your vocal Chris..

  • Im a fan but this sucks

  • is it just me or is he hitting the crash when he should be on the hi-hats at 1:12?

  • @gnrtop holy shit, you really watch videos attentively xD at 3:40 again :P

that wouldn't happen if it was a song with timbaland xD

  • @gugega wot we looking for??????

  • ok you wanna bring your highly intelectual(if its spelt wrong sorry) i must be stupid what the hell did you just say

  • Beleza, concordo que o Chris não fez escolhas tão boas assim na carreira solo dele, mas continua sendo uma das maiores vozes e um dos maiores compositores dos ultimos 20 anos.

  • Don't truly care for the melody in the composition.I have been a drummer for 30 plus yrs and have done arrangement for my past original band.True,Cornell has an amazing tone, power and dynamics.I just don't feel "it" within this particular band as it seems to be a bit shallow and a bit heavy maybe to appeal to the crowd that now really has no label put upon themselves.Sorry if I offend anyone, this song does not work for me.It is over the top and lacks integrity but that in only my own opinion.Thx

  • Chris Cornell has one of the most amazing voices i have ever heard......but his new stuff has lost its Rock

  • Cornell, you cant go wrong... youre awesome. and who's that girl?? Gorgeous!!

  • "bereft of even a modicum?" so you mean "people that don't know shit?"

about music? I'm not sure you have to know about it to be able to have an opinion on it. Music's one of the few things I feel o.k. saying that about.

  • good song!!! baaaadddd video!!!! Great singer!!! :)

  • good voice but its just not the shit im used to listening out of chris...

  • 2:31 = Best part

  • @mateus5678 – probably because there, it sounds like "Black Hole Sun"...

  • Responder a este vídeoYeah! It also reminds me ''Pillow of Your Bones'' on this piece '' Colorfull and falling from your mouth / Like a painted fever in recoil / Like a lie without the pain''

BTW, he is coming here (Brazil). I'm excited to go on his show !! But i will have to do a looong and expensive trip for Sao Paulo. But it worth !!

Unfortunately, It isn't Soundgarden that will come

    ...

  • Chris along with Alain Johannes of Eleven are some of my greatest musical influences,

This stuff just doesn't rock, it would make sense that after all the years of sacrificing your voice as Chris has for so many years that its bound to go at some point.

  • @augustjohnnycrashed

So... Chris WITH Alain Johannes AND Natasha Shneider of Eleven ARE a great match

Euphoria morning's the best solo album he made with them!

  • Chris looks like Robert Downey Jr.

  • porqué se cagan tanto a trompadas?

  • @pajaroinflamable DUDE! That's what i'm sayin'!

  • wow.

  • AMAZING FLAWLESS RICH POWERFUL BEAUTIFUL SOULFUL INTENSE DELICIOUS VOICE CHRIS MY GOD YOUR AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • fucking awesome voice

  • Great song but this video is dumb..I really dislike the images of violence. Some stupid sadistic director got his jollies of this one I'm sure.

  • @EuphoricNightmare What a wimp comment you made. Go hug a tree or look at flowers.

  • @markenhagen - I suppose you're the director.

  • @EuphoricNightmare @EuphoricNightmare Chris is the man. Takes no directions from nobody. Does what he wants. So chris liked the video. If you didnt like it then you dont like Chris. Make sure you preorder your Justin Beiber tickets they go fast!!!

  • @markenhagen FYI.. I have Chris's tunes all over the house...and on my playlists, as well as his inspirations. Dont make any assumptions concerning 'my' likes. Feel free to reread what I siad in my first comment. Nothing wrong with the song itself.. the video was worth watching only once, in my opinion. Have a great day!

  • @EuphoricNightmare haha, funny

  • @markenhagen hahaha

  • @markenhagen Aww did Chris break your heart when he started talking to other people, LOL. Sounds like you need to go look at Flowers....or rainbows

  • i love chris cornell's older solo work, all of soundgarden, and a bunch of audioslave songs but his newer stuff just isn't my style

  • @luismothz Might be a great voice but I good song needs more than just that....

  • @QuicDra Needs some Thayil.

  • pretty cool song. Chris Cornell has that voice man... but his solo stuff doesn't match up AT ALL to soundgarden and audioslave

  • 7 people are stupid

  • @thpriest Clever.

  • wenever i c a link to one of his songs, i click it and add it to my favs...gunna b full pretty soon >:D

  • BIG SHIT!

  • vevo é merda

  • so chris cornell was like, "hey guys can we make a gay vid, like the gayest vid in the world? oh yea, and can we rip off the opening guitar riff from sum shit velvet revolver thru out in the trash? that would be so cool..."

  • @777Lateralus Pick a better adjective, there isn't anything wrong with being gay. Nor is the video gay, or could be, until it starts being sexually attracted to members of the same sex. If you're talking about the video's contents, the contents hardly depict a homosexual act, at least as far as I can see. Cool out, state your opinion in a non-deragatory/inflammatory fashion, and go about your day, but don't get emotionally attached to your perspective, it's unproductive.

  • @ExEverest10 I respect you. I've responded to this guy twice today, both on Chris Cornell videos. I'm done with it. It's not worth arguing it anymore with this guy. But I respect you. I used to use that word as an insult as well. As I have grown and matured I have noticed how wrong it is and have wondered why our society continues to emphasize it as an insult. Where did I learn it from? Anyway, I agree that we need to stop degrading people for their preferences. Good job.

  • @777Lateralus lol if Slash wasn't using a riff he made up, I'd consider ripping it off too, even if it was in the trash...

  • i listen to this song because of the verses and that part around 2:31[beautiful,chris] but the chorus isn´t good,he should´ve made a video for poison eye!!!

  • THE man.

  • The video is everything contrary to the lyrics.

    Oh, the irony...

  • Now in my opinion scream is a little better than carry on. In scream he seems to have a more structured plan. It seems like carry on was made partly just to accompany you know my name.

  • @Auraruth8 shut up

  • Me gusto la canción y el video... muchas gracias nuevamente Chriss!

  • This is a fairly poor effort, lyrically and musically from a man with the talent of Cornell.

  • ai hufgj win or fakg ts der cums in fur ports derski fuib vres!!

  • he did the song for a movie thts why its sooo weridd...

  • This video disturbed me...

  • lets face it the dude can sing no matter what band he may be with...

  • the voice doesn´t match the music...the double voice is too much.

  • This is a cool song. Chris Cornell always keeps pushing himself to do new things. A lot of artists say that but the end result is that they do the same thing only get a different producer or add a string section or whatever. A lot of post Soundgarden stuff is garbage but the good stuff is nearly as good as Soundgarden and fair play to him for genuinely trying to push his own boundaries whether it works or not

BTW, Scream is a cracking, good pop song

  • thank god he's back with soundgarden..

  • Stupid video, but at least it's a Chris Cornell song that Timbaland didn't rape.

  • The trouble with music is that it's objective, and the trouble with the increase in internet-based social forums is that people bereft of even a modicum of musical knowledge can voice their opinions freely. Chris Cornell is a superb vocalist, an utter joy to listen to, whatever he puts his name to. I highly doubt he pays much (if any) attention to negativity, and hope he continues to make music he enjoys.

  • @captainwungf Well put man.

  • @captainwungf I couldn´t agree with you more. And i think that it´s pretty awesome that someone can change the music style and still do it so fine... There´s so much in music to listen to....

  • @captainwungf I disagree. Music is subjective, because it exists in the subject's perspective, not as a seperate object. As a seperate object it's a collection of frequencies. It only becomes music when we react to it with an emotional response. Aside from that, if you are talking about 'interpreting' music subjectively or objectively, one could attempt to make the argument that all music could be evaluated from the POV of human psychology, and rated objectively in regards to how well

  • @ExEverest10 it exploits the latter. This, afaik, is a flawed argument, however, because there's no 'god-given', or other universally enstated, default psychology; if a psycopath finds a certain genre of music amusing, whereas the rest of us can't stand or understand it, it does not make his opinion invalid perspective simply because there are more of us. Regardless of this, it is fairly clear, at least to me, that you do not whole-heartedly support what you have written in the 1st part-

  • @ExEverest10 Typo: It does not make his perspective* invalid

  • @ExEverest10 A very cerebral post with a rather odd point tagged onto the end there. On what basis do you claim that I don't support what I myself write? Just wondering because you haven't made any attempt to follow it up. If what you're saying is true, then I must be a subconscious hypocrite. If you're attempting to dismantle my point then you've failed by stating your own opinion on the matter (which with your rather confrontational approach totally misses the point).

  • @ExEverest10 Chris Cornell has a pleasant singing dialect, and that is all that is apparent to me (I have more than a modicum of musical knowledge, I reckon-studied the subject for a few years). Pavarotti is a superb vocalist; I'm sure there are many, many educated musicians who'd struggle to put Cornell in the same league as the latter. "Pride (self-assurance in one's views, and lackluster understanding of one's own fallability) comes before the fall (mistake)".

  • @ExEverest10 Also, and with far greater relativity, the very fact that you've claimed subjectivity to be the driving force behind music and musical opinions, then stated in no uncertain terms that I'm wrong, is an anvil of contradictory force. I have a feeling you've rushed to get it all down and not really read what you've written. I had a quick think of what stale saying to put on the end, as this seems to be your trend, but I'll abstain.

  • @captainwungf I've sent you a message in response.

  • @captainwungf But should a good vocalist totally ignore negative feedback? Can it only do harm, break his flow?

  • @captainwungf i agree, but are you sure you don't mean "subjective" not "objective"? just trying to clarify.

  • @captainwungf I concur... He's one of my top 3. Just wish I could find that box he works out of....gotta be some good shit in there. I understand music very well, not as much as I'd like to, but Chris Cornell/SoundgardenAudioslave are all kickin!! Hope he keeps em comin as he is an inspiration and a mentor to several aspects of many musicians/singers and songwriters out there.

  • @captainwungf I think your wrong he does pay attention and that is why he got back together with soundgarden! The high point of his music career!

  • his voice makes up for the crappy video

  • what the fuck is this holy shit!!!!!! really ???? this wasnt musice it was bull shit

  • coooooooooooooool

  • acoustic version wayy better .....i hate the ppl chris is with. its not soundgareen....its these other doods.

  • @chpthncook37 Ya I know hey I cant believe hes with timbaland man wtf didnt think cornell would ever sell his soul

  • @phukurhat Yeah. lol werid just watch get on the snake video and watch some of todays bullshyt.. sooo fukin differnet. of course you are speaking of THE ILLMANUTII

haha he did sell his soul. da fuk? hes a rock legend. whyy da fuk is he doing pop?

lol obviously this pop buessiness gets more shyt money fame. and ya yu will sell yur soul. ahahhaha i miss the old chris!

  • @chpthncook37 Don't worry. He's back with Soundgarden, and now he looks like the early 90's. You can forget the pop he WAS doing.

Nice to hear some rock right here after Scream.

  • @GrungeSound2010 Yeaa dood. seriorsly!!! hahaha . but another greatest hits cd by soundgarden? right now my bloods boilin for a soundgarden album or a rage album!!

  • what a fucking stupid video how pointless is it!

  • hmm nice song..

  • ths song is so fucking dumb

  • funtastic voice and great video!

  • chris almost broke the girl's arm @ 2:38!

  • "Feels" like a return to roots, but not quite. Not sure what to make of it. The video is also a bit iffy.

*Need* more songs which bring out the power of Cornell's voice. This isn't one of them.

    3/5 I'd say.

  • @Iliyan503 Im sorry are you saying this song feels like chris is returning to his roots? you sir are a retard.

  • @wra7h Seriously.. was this kind of reply really required? And to answer your insinuation.. Yes, I do feel that this song is a sort of blast from the past. At least as far as the sound is concerned. It definitely reminds me of Soundgarden.

  • @Iliyan503 sorry i thought you were commenting a different song, my apologies.

  • I was watching this vid for the very first time with the lights out and a small lamp on, with the volume cranked up to 29... Scared the crap outta me.

  • @GrizzlyFlower Hahahaha! Yeah...spooky.

  • kick ass riff

  • Chris Cornell is my favourite musician!

  • @madlikeblogger Me too!!! B~)>
