  • BRUTAL

  • I am huge Beatles fan, since February 1964. I have never heard this song. Love it. Vintage early Beatles style.

  • Not their best line

  • This song is great. The Beatles didn't like it though. They really are brilliant

  • ahhh the drums in the beginning! this could be my favorite Ringo tune...

  • Personally, I think this is Ringo's best song. Shame it wasn't released on a studio album. Rock on Ringo!

  • Forgot to mention; I love the fan art in here. And I love George's sexy sneer at 1:05. He's my favorite.

  • SmashKai: It's from the "Help" sessions.

Vmanbeatles: This track was released on "Anthology Volume II".

HelpMeFindTheseSongs: "Not Guilty" by George was on "Anthology Volume III".

Tarheelvet: Thanks for the nice comments.

I think this is a cool song and nowhere near The Beatles' worst. Merry Xmas everyone.

  • What's so awful about this. I read in a book that this was one of Paul and John's worst. It's honestly not bad. I'm kinda diggin it. What year was this made, cause it kinda sounds "Revolver"esque?

  • @SmashKai I find it hard to believe that anybody would hate this song. Never heard it before I saw this video, and I love it. Like most of the other Beatles songs, the sound isn't dated. I could close my eyes and not know whether this was done in the 60's, 70's, or even 80's!

  • @SmashKai It was from Help sessions

  • Are there any other official/completed songs the Beatles made that never ended up on an album until after the Anthology series?

  • What album is this from?

  • Ring Rock ....

    The Beatles Forever .

  • Fantastic Great song my favorite 'Ringo'

  • @50anosdercok Mine, too! =)

  • Thanks for the memories. Sad to say I forgot all about these until a fb friend of mine sent me a link. Now I'm hooked. Again. Great vid.

  • I saw forgot about this .. I hang my head in shame!! Thanks for the flashback!!

  • Ahhhhhhhh rock on...anybody!

  • I used to have those weird models of the band!

  • this is one of the best songs by the beatles..fuck whoever disagrees.

  • Is this on an album?

  • @mrelky64 Anthology 2

  • Awesome song :)

  • I wish I could hear the Beatles play "Got You Where I Want You" by the Flys, with George doing the vocals. Listening to that song, it strikes me what the Beatles would do to it - how they would perform it.

  • Epic solo by George as well!

  • Id have this over Act Naturally

  • this too much better than Act Naturally. it´s more a Ringo´s song, funny, silly, light. a little more of production and it would be great on Help movie. it´s sounds 1965

  • ok this is how it goes down i hav all 14 complete beatles albums on my ipod but i've NEVER heard this song in my life

  • I love this groovy song!!BEATLES 4EVER!!!YEAH YEAH YEAH!!

  • This is cool ! Why they didin't put this on a album !

  • Comment removed

  • And it is written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney :)

  • And this song stayed unrealeased until Anthology !!

  • This song was supposed to be Ringo's tune on the album Help! But they chose Act Naturally instead, I personally like this one more :)

  • thumbs up if you've never heard this song in your life

  • @Cymermanski of course haha every beatles song is a classic

  • Why does Ringo look.. 'different'...? He doesn't have that big of a nose, nor are his eyes cross eyed.

  • they could have given it away to someone else

  • I heard they decided to not publish this song....as a matter of fact I think it's not a tragedy, but it's neither on the level of class of many other songs, even of the less known ones....

  • The Beatles are my all-time favorite band and I've never heard of this song OR the Beatles cartoon show!

  • perfect

  • they made richard look stupid

  • ringo has a massive nose on this! it's a bit too big, I think?! nice

  • @skupsoink well its a draw and its supposed that it have to make your more notable thing more notable .sorry i was redundant

  • bollocks to the music critcs and people here. This is a consistently groovin, steadily rockin' way unnderrated number. And Ringo is great on vocals. It also I think would have been the first beatles song to break away from boring ass love themed songs because that's all they did up to '65.

  • I'm glad it wasn't released. What made the Beatles so perfect was the way that the only released their finest work so they could never disappoint us.

  • @ThroughRock I don't see what's so bad about it? I think it's still pretty damn good.

  • let's see what the world thought about this video.. oh look another argument, that makes a change..

  • who's saying this song is bad? are they capable of hearing?? this is the first time i heard this one and it's an awesome beatles song!

  • I actually love this song so go shut it!!

  • this song was recorded in 1965, its actually alot ahead of its time, its abit punky

  • rock on!

  • I love this one; my favorite 'Ringo' tune, and ya, that includes 'With A Little Help From My Friends'. Great song with a psych edge.

  • @vampyros1

Theres nothing psych about this song. At all.

  • @TopTenCrew Sure there is, and it's called a droning guitar.

  • @vampyros1

No, thats not psyh, at all. Get the fuck out of here.

  • @TopTenCrew Right ... now why don't you return to your bath house and leave the dialog to those of us who know a 12-string from a tuba-

  • @vampyros1

You;'re an idiot. Not psych at all.

  • @TopTenCrew Since when does the contraction "you're" require a semi-colon? LOL You're not only a musical moron, but illiterate too ...

  • @vampyros1

I made a typo. Only idiots go after small grammatical mistakes like that. Good job in proving something that we all already knew.

  • @TopTenCrew Oh sure ... nice cover! At least you spell-checked your last comment. lol Fucktard-o

  • @vampyros1

Because I really give a shit about the spelling on a YouTube comment, right? God, some people shouldn't even be allowed to use the internet...fuck.

  • @TopTenCrew Because I really give a shit about your agreeing with my comment, right? God, some people shouldn't even be allowed to use the internet...fuck.

  • @vampyros hes pwned lol! :) Sophie;)

  • @vampyros1 YELLOW SUBMARINE WOOT

  • It's not too bad!! I've heard worst by other artist and they won grammy awards!!

  • Amazing! This is the first time I ever heard a Beatles song I didn't like. I guess John and Paul were right. They'd only release a song if they ALL liked it. Good formula.

  • Am I the only one that really like the song?

  • @TheNameIsLara yes, I love this song

  • @TheNameIsLara no me and my mate like it..

  • Well people think this song is bad or not as good as their other stuff. Well STFU about it. It's 100% better than that shit out there today. Most the "artist" out there couldn't even write a song like this. I LOVE this song!

  • Is the unreleased song

  • George looks a bit like a villain from Batman.

  • If people like this song, I respect that. But personally I think they were right to shelf this one: very, very, overtreaded ground for their sound, and pretty much within the bounds of "crap". Its not a horrible song, but if they released this one it likely wouldve killed any promise of versatility and many people wouldve bailed out on them before "Yesterday" was released.

  • this isnt a particularly GOOD song musically, but its just fun and enjoyable haha

  • You can watch the cartoon on Youtube.

  • I dont understand why people dont like this song

  • BTW, The Bristols recorded a great cover of this song.

  • This is my favorite song by the beatles now its so EPIC

  • Guys no,no,no.Revoulution9 is the worst.

  • I never Liked Long Long Long, Because, Sun King, which I consider the same feel.

Teddy Boy r a few I don't care for....This should have been on Help

  • @worldcitizenforever haha you apparently missed the whole point of my comment. I even said "the point is" and u ignored that part. lol

  • Its wrongly criticized to me. I don't think this is a bad song at all and I don't think its the worse of The Beatles' songs. I think their worse is Sun King. In fact this song, "If You've Got Trouble" suddenly came to my head today and I started singing part of it when I found myself in a little bit of trouble today.

  • This track can be found on the "Beatles Anthology" albums. The song was removed from the album "Help" as the band felt the song was lacked rhythm. Shame....its a tune!!

  • Never heard this song before! I thought I heard them all. What album is this from?

  • @RandyAKing

Not released i'm afraid :( but you can hear the last take (this one) can be found in the anthologies...

  • Why do people criticize this song? I like it just fine.

  • Don't start singing along, it will never leave.

  • @CommonSkill bro, it has been stuck in my head for two years!

  • Some people say this should've been on the Help album. Not only that, this would've been PERFECT for the movie.

  • this song is good but not great..Ringo and the Kinks

  • This is the most horrible beatles song and it is still 100000000 times better than Justin Beiber and all that other crap of todays music

  • @beatlesman135 This song is epic you must be partly deaf

  • @Katshiro234 I guess this song is pretty good but it is not as great as other beatles songs

  • First time i heard this i thought they were right to take it out of Help,But damn i love this song now!!

  • To be fair, I can see why this was cut from the Help! album. It just isn't very good.

  • @worldcitizenforever Well I'm sure mst will agree when i say not many artist have talent today, but i actually do think lady caca isn't far from talnt cause sheactually plays an instrunment well! she shouldn't be compared tothe beatles though. The point is though, like Adam253 wrote, this prob is closer to one of the beatles worst songs, and if you're going to say "that beatles are am average band" on this video?good luck saying that on any of there other only more awesome endless list of videos!

  • To be fair, the band didn't think this was worth releasing. I have about 25 takes of the song and this one is about the best there is. Does anyone have the "100 mph" instrumental version of "Happy Just To Dance With You" they could upload? Phenomenal take - I have it on tape but not the logistics to upload here.

  • Ringo star has a big ass Nose in this :P:P--he shud be offended

  • Gay performances? You got to be kidding.

  • Whatever, this song rocks bigtime.

  • @worldcitizenforever And more to the point, listen to the Abbey Road album, the whole thing, and try to say it is "designed for hysteric b*tches" The album is 1 part mature songwriting, 1 part artsiness in music, and 1 part fun, and 0 parts average songs and it doesn't recall the "moptop era" at all. These are two different artists almost, one set before Sgt. Pepper, and one after.

  • @worldcitizenforever I couldn't help but notice your picture ID was of In the Court of the Crimson King, which is an extremely good album. Compare 21st Century Schizoid Man with Helter Skelter: they are both on the surface, very "hard" songs, or another way to say it is, they both "rock". "21st" is more immediately recognizable as a complex tune, with more parts, BUT for the most part, it follows 12 bar blues form, and rarely uses tones outside of the minor pentatonic blues scale.

  • The worst Beatles song is better than 99% of the crap people make today

  • @Adam253 I love this comment. Cause it's so damn true. Nowadays people will come out with an album and only have a good song or two on it, for mopst bands. on the other hand with the beatles, every song usually has something unique and different about it.

  • @Adam253 there isnt a worst beatles song there all equally amazing

  • @Adam253 there isnt a worst Beatles song there all equally amazing

  • @Adam253 comon bro, chains?

  • @cgbach I had been replying to someone that said this was their worst song, not to imply this is their worst song. I think it has a good hook. If i were to pick MY least favorite song, it would be Anna, or as you said Chains

  • @Adam253

Is there really a "WORST" beatles song?

  • @Adam253 no such thing as the worst beatles song ...i should give u an open hand slap for such blasphamy

  • @Adam253 What worst Beatles song? :D

  • @Adam253 actually it's 100 percent better. Notice how I didnt even say the worst song because theyre are no bad songs.

  • @Adam253 ditto

  • @Adam253 ditto

  • @Adam253

There is no worst Beatles song... They are all perfect

  • sounds like the Kinks

  • This is the worst Beatles song ever.

  • I have the complete series on DVDs!!! Boy it brings back my kiddie days back in the 60's!!! ROCK ON RINGO!!

  • "rock on, anybody!" wow he sounds mad! poor ringo, given the shit song.

    and he knows it.

  • I love the Beatles -- the greatest musical artists of the 20th century -- but this song is sooooo bad! "Aww rock on, ANYBODY!" cries poor Ringo in frustration...

  • give stars to Starr the star of the song

  • poor ringo! hes always singing about how sad he is! he was too underrated! RINGO ROCKS!

  • They really went overkill with ringos nose.

  • @AnSturbin did you know that the KKK wanted to kill Ringo because he was jewish? and the thing is he's christian, i wonder how they mixed him with judaism.....

  • @AnSturbin they also went overkill with johns voice, pauls teeth, and georges chin!!!!

  • suena bien esa cancion!

  • haha ringos nose is huge in every cartoon

  • i used to watch these Beatle cartoons just before i went to school. sigh.

  • @worldcitizenforever Thanks. I'm curious if you looked at the mentioned website, or if you simply took my word for it. For the record, I consider this song a below average one, as it seemed they gave Ringo something without tricky chords and mid-range vocal parts to sing.

  • Say, when did the Beatles cartoon show come out? And those are some neat toys there too!

  • @worldcitizenforever There average is in fact not weak. I can tell you this objectively from a musicological standpoint. There are almost no trivial songs, all of them have a unique touch added to them. If you don't believe me, google "alan w pollack notes on", and read through.

  • RINGO ROCKS!

  • Ick! The Anthology edit! (The real recording didn't begin with the "if you've got trouble..." verse.)

  • @worldcitizenforever

I don't think you could be more blatant in your trolling.

  • @worldcitizenforever If you don't like the Beatles then why were you watching this?

  • @worldcitizenforever that's what I say man! RS is so shitty that they didn't include Pink Floyd in their 100 greatest artists of all time list!

  • very very Georgy solo.. !! nice..!

  • @worldcitizenforever Well maybe in your messed up opoin they arent but most ppl think they are and guess who the rollingstone named the best band idk cough the beatles cough

  • @worldcitizenforever Quit spreading lies and trying to change history by trashing the best band ever. Get a life

  • Cartoon George looks sweet at 0:33

  • Excellent number!!! The Beatles should have released it--it would have been a hit, no doubt!!!

  • @TheBeatles4ver Becasue the others are geniuses so make looks him as if he was bad, everyone would look bad playing along with that other three.

  • @worldcitizenforever the day you have "AT LEAST" 5 number 1 hits one right after the other, YOU are more than welcome to TALK and let us know how it feels to be in the same position and or category as the "BEATLES" : )

  • Back in the '60's a lot of adults were saying the Beatles would destroy our youth. So I watched the cartoon in secret, lol.

  • @terransage wonder what those adults would be saying now!

  • @swatkins246 They'd probably say, "Why can't you emos, saggers and gangsta-wannabe's be more like your burnt-out hippy grandparents??"

(The irony is that we '60's kids survived to live fairly good lives, while the adults' minds (and lives) were completely shattered by Lawrence Welk and John Wayne.)

  • @worldcitizenforever

Oh yes, I'm so sure you do.

  • @worldcitizenforever

Wow, you really do amuse me. Just how much you DON'T know about them is funny, yet you are trying to describe how bad you think they are? And why are you even commenting on the video? And I would love to see you try to write a song better then "Hey Jude", "Let It Be", or "A Day In The Life" Get over yourself, for the sake of all of us.

  • @worldcitizenforever You must not know the Beatles that well if you say they were a bad live act, they performed well over a 1000 shows before they were famous, and that is the reason why there was Beatlemania in the first place. They stopped performing live because no one could hear the music over the screaming girls. Most of there later songs were written away from Martin...I can't keep doing this silliness, I agree to disagree, whales vagina.

  • @TheBeatles4ver aside from the fact that John and George wrote half of his solo hits.

    PS I love Ringo too!!!

  • @worldcitizenforever mine's still better lol

  • @worldcitizenforever George Harrison said they weren't that great on the technical side of music, but they still made some amazing songs. (and for the record I am not Satan's house in hell{pandemonium}) lol

I LOVE King Crimson, and own most of their albums on vinyl, but I would still rather listen to Abbey Road any day of the week.(that's me)

PS my name is from Jay in the Jay and Silent Bob silliness, and as you "say" at the end, there is no mean heartedness(I know it isn't a word) meant here

  • @worldcitizenforever well I think you have a lark's tongue stuck in your aspen!

  • @worldcitizenforever you have a King Crimson logo and you don't like the Beatles? Robert Fripp would be very disappointed.

  • @worldcitizenforever then why are you listening?

  • @worldcitizenforever No, they really couldn't. Songs that retards write are rappers, hip-hop, Kesha and Lady Gaga. And they don't even write them. Admit it, The Beatles had more talent than anybody in the world. Even if you don't like them you have to respect them.

  • @worldcitizenforever Post us the best song you can make. With drums, singing, guitar and bass. I'd like to see what you can do ass wipe.

  • @worldcitizenforever I think you need to keep your opinions to yourself. The Beatles are masters of the art of music, and you need to at least respect that instead of speaking biased words of hatred. Really? None of these words describe them or their music. Greatest band of all time in my opinion. Long Live The Beatles.

  • @chankyboots what ablum is this from

  • @ajcool411

    it waznt ever released

  • @ajcool411 it was released as a b-side to a song I can't recall

  • @worldcitizenforever Ah ok, gotcha.

  • @worldcitizenforever

I don't get if your hating on The Beatles or, lol wut ?

  • These cartoons were my first experience of the Beatles when I was 3 in '65. I loved them so much. I didn't catch on the the "real Beatles" until about 2 years later :)

  • @TheBeatles4ver finally! someone agrees!!

  • OMG!! I WANT THOSE STATUE THINGS NOW!!! THOSE ARE SO COOL!!!!

  • this song kicks ass, i love it!!!!!!!

  • this song holds up better than a lot on HELP! - big mistake
