  • @blueangel123ful lol! i would be pissed off too, if indians came to europe and took over, but wait... that didnt happen

  • best tv show ever. best actting ever. lol.i luv it when caroline didnt like edwards for a while lol. but charles and laura does lol...love love this show..

  • ha ha I was Name after the two girls :)

    Melissa

  • I LUV MR EDWARDS. I WOULD BE LIKE LAURA he would Be My Favorite Pal.

  • I'm only 12 and i'm addicted to little house on the prairie, i usually don't watch tv because the shows aren't so good. i get lost in books, like bartssue said they dont make good shows like they used to

  • People like them made USA the best country in the world

  • Man I felt bad for Caroline. Dude I would pee my pants.

  • Lucky for Charles, Caroline doesn't have a itchy trigger finger! Does anyone know where the location was filming this show?

  • @alottaUtube Sorry for the late reply, they filmed it in California :)

  • Do you know how I afraid I would be if I was Caroline?

  • guys have the physical strength over women but a lot of times women have stronger inner strength than men. almost all men who have done great things in history had a great woman in his life to give him the positive influence and motivate thim. Genghis Khan was the most powerful man, possibly ever, to rule vast empire but he was afraid of his mother and his wife was his closest advisor.

  • I always dream about this little house!!!

  • Long live Edwards.

  • Trying to get up to the Ranch where they shot it.. very much looking forward.

  • @pacedom1 where was that then?

  • @MishelleAngeleyez It's called Big Sky Movie Ranch about an hour north of Los Angeles. It was Heaven on Earth. Though Michael Landon ordered the sets to be burnt down so there would never be a remake, the land is just as beautiful as it is in the show. Facebook Big Sky Movie Ranch. The guy's name is Jeff who runs it. You can call and see if the Ranch is open, or if you can take a tour on a day that he is there. There are no paid tours yet.. but there should be. But he's very nice.

  • @pacedom1 tnx a lot for the info... very kind, i sadly didn't find it over FB though, will try googling it?? can't wait to take a look at it .. tnx again :) btw i live in switzerland so am gonna have ta fly over lolzz

  • @MishelleAngeleyez check out my page.. I posted my trip to the Little House ranch there.

  • @pacedom1 how do i get to the page???

  • @MishelleAngeleyez /watch?v=KuDEiDVhA9c just put that at the end of the youtube.com link. They don't allow us to post other links.

  • lauras so cute!!

  • @TheMaryMoss Caroline's cute.

  • .

i loved to see it, and now too,, i believe my next generation too.

    .

  • You got that right ! It seems like people in those day were more humble you never heard of so much depression then days like you do now. People seem to live beyond their means. We need to go back to the old ways of living and thinking!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "work for a woman"???Now adays the National Organization for Women would protest this show and the lefties would be complaining about the Christian themes....funny how fast this country of ours has turned to shit under the lefties wackos.

  • I agree with you.

  • lighthouse80s

i forgot how funny mr.edwards was, he sure upset caroline!!! LOL

    she came around tho!!

    awsome!!

  • Life was so simple at that time. The ingalls worked hard, had no tv,no computer, but they were happy and helped each other. They liked others too.

  • i love this show and old family values and hard work.

  • Extremely sad that the scene with Mr Edwards and Laura is really about the sexual seduction of Anastasia Rominov and Rasputin....Anastasia was a beautiful shining noble youth that should not be forgoten and should be mourned and loved.

  • There's no question more Americans are shit stupid, but picking up a shovel? America are already serfs from a tax system that is insane...to much flouride in the water supply...sheople!!!

  • hey you americans, thats what you need to get out of the hole, stop criticizing and complaining about everything and grab a freaking shovel. you want it all ready and now, that's why you're going downhill.

  • did anyone else notice that the spade she is using is in fact a collins and stugart and made in 1878, but the hat she is wearing is clearly a cox and smiths hat and made in 1853. it just does;nt look that old to me

  • ADORE this show. Thanks for sharing it,

so much joy and learning this brought us.

  • SO many memories with this show.

Did you BAWL your head off with the final espisode! Sheeesh....sad

  • I think Mr Edward had an influence in Laura's character.. hehehhe...

  • Didn't even know this existed! Mr Edwards is hilarious! Thanks for posting.

  • simplicity...simplicity. When we strayed from that we strayed from peace and happiness.

  • yes, I would have enjoyed those times. Sigh. But we are where we are now. So thank God for that.

  • anyone else find Caroline kind of hot?

  • yes, she is a fine women.

  • they could have lived in 1 room and been happy

people now have everything and never seem happy at all

  • waar bemoei jij je mee??!!!

  • charles ingalls like my a good man :D

  • Doe iets aan je Engels, alsjeblieft ;)

  • One of the results of living alone in the prairie is that you would not find sophisticated people, some of them never went to school, did not know how to read or write, but they had a sense of community and they were very hard workers. Carolyn Ingalls also had to adjust to that kind of life.

  • even though they never schooled...but at least people back then have a better sense of morals...and they have better survival skills then people now...they have hands-on education...while we just depend on technology...

  • That is true. However I do appreciate the technology we have and the medical advances. In those days I would have died at arount 8 years old of an apendix infected. These days thank God we can operate that and live longer. As for morals the society has several times change during history, the Midle Ages was a disaster, they killed people in the name of God, just because they though differently. Nothing like freedom of though. Only God will judge us.

  • I really want a time machine so that I could go back to Prairie times!

  • i say that all the time, i would love to have lived in those days

  • Caroline and Charles are the perfect image of the relationship that all husbands and wives should have with each other. :)

  • it would have been great to live in those days for a while, but i think in this day and age everyone is so spoiled they would never cope

  • yeah people are too spoiled now. too much freedom, especially for kids. kids should be loved and raised the right way, how the Ingalls did it. they work so hard back then, even kids help out.

  • I agree Melody, the "good ol days" were good in a sense, but we do not understand the hardship these folks endured. Many people died young back then, you couldn't go to an urgent care down the street, in the country life was isolating and sometimes dangerous. There were good times, but day by day these folks worked to survive and if they had a bad crop one year, they were in trouble. I still love Little House!

  • where did all those trees come from?

  • i always thought charles went in to the woods to go get themm =]

  • thankful to be born in the twenieth century but wow would i love to be back then for a year to really experience the life the had

  • where in the hell was charlies getting all that wood I dont see much anyplace there

  • I fully agree with you coolinamerica! I would have loved to live in that time period too! It would have been so much fun!

    Fizz =.=

  • It's too bad that 'life' is'nt like "Little House on the Praire' anymore. I am 40 years old and I watched almost every episode of the program (cry everytime) I would have loved to live during those days. No lights, no tv, no gameboys, no cars etc etc etc. Just alot of indians, love, hope and happiness!!! God help us today!!

  • I agree!

  • i dont see why we ever got rid of horses.they only need food-grass,hayect.-water,a nice place to sleep, rest, pacince, and brushing.i have a horse that i ride all the time.its easy to do all those things

  • I hear ya I am 40 also..time better back then for sure..

  • Watch your choice of words- "indians" isn't the proper term, its Native Americans.

  • actually native americans isnt correct we were the orignals

  • Every generation says that eventually. Usually the "good old days" weren't everything the were remembered to be. Think of the disease and hardship and lack of medicine just to start with. If life back then were a tv show, yeah, it would have been a better time, but it was a dang HARD life. :) I am glad to live now in the age of technology and advancement. I wish I could go back and visit that time though, just to see what it was like! :)

  • The greatest cause of death for women in the 19th century was not childbirth.... but fire. Diseases like measles, diptheria, smallpox, dysentery, rhumatic fever were which are so rare today were killers back then..

  • Actually he allowed her to work side by side with him so he didn't treat her like a weakling. It was in the wealthy classes that women were seen as ornaments and nothing else.

  • to me the actress that played caroline is the most beautiful woman i've even seen,,i hope the girl i marry looks like her,,,o yea type in little house onthe prairie outtakes ,they are pretty damn funny,,take care

  • I dont think the paw does justice to the paw in the book. The other charecters are great though =)

Im gonna have a really fun summer watching all these clips. Thanks to the uploader :)

ps: maw should just have let laura spit xD

  • If I had to pick one show to send around the world that would explain and exemplify the American spirit, it would be Little House.

The sense of adventure, righteousness, and optimism in this show is so great, and Michael Landon is one of the greatest Ambassadors I could imagine. What a show, and boy does it make me proud of my American heritage.

  • mr. edwards is such a charachter.

  • One of my fave shows from the 70's was All In The family

  • what does that have to do with this?its little house

  • Karen Grassle and Michael Landon had an awesome chemistry and were perfect as Caroline and Charles Ingalls.

  • Another fine example of perfect chemisty of this show was the actors who played Mr. and Mrs. Olsen

  • Absolutely. Polar opposites, and yet so perfect for each other.

  • its amazing how hard they BOTH worked

  • Victor French and Michael Landon are two of the finest actors that worked real good being together, the world lost something when they perished, and there will be none other like them

  • They don't make shows this good anymore. If they did,I would be watching t.v. instead of looking for old stuff on my computer.

  • i agree with ya

  • You're so right. So many shows today depict the kids as brats and the adults as idiots.

  • how can anyone not agree that this is one of the best shows in television history!? this show is the best! and i still watch it every day during the week!

  • @azuquita07 this is my 1st time givin it the time of day. im 25 on cable tv when i was young it came on but i didnt like to watch it cuz it was a hour long lol

  • ma and pa, are just the most perfect couple. :).

  • homo says what? you are very funny

  • michael landon.. what a guy.. bonanza, little house on the prairie.. man,, great series

  • and highway to heaven, too. Michael Landon was a great person, and actor, with really smart morals in life.

  • how?? because he got remarried and had other kids? that happens.

  • How can anyone not just love this serie? Ive watched it for as long as i can remember.

  • really--so nice of a show~

  • Caroline rocks! She's standing by her man and family.

  • Well, it might be fun to visit Walnut Grove. But my question would be this. Do you mean the Walnut Grove that Michael Landon filmed at in Southern California or the REAL Walnut Grove in Minnesota? Either one ain't gonna look like what was filmed for this show 30 years ago.

  • I guess Pa still takes time out during homesteading to shave twice a day. ;)

  • Of course he shaved twice a day. Back in the 1800s, Pa Ingalls also took time out to get a crew to film him and his family.....IN COLOR. You gotta look your best as a frontier family under those circumstances. Even Mr. Edwards knows how to spit in color....and in style.

  • lol

  • "My home is where you are....."

    That`s soooo cute!!!

  • Actually, what happened was worse, according to the book, the log fell down and hurt Ma's ankle.

  • Tee-Hee. Typical 1800s indeed. I saw Alison Arngrim (Nellie) perform last year where someone asked her if she longed to live in the 1800s. She replied, "Hell, no! An era without air conditioning? An era without antibiotics? A rusted nail punctured in your hand today is treatable, back then you DIED! Dr. Baker didn't HAVE a remedy for THAT!" These stories are well told to make the simpler times endearing, but NOBODY today would want to live in that era. Hee-Hee.

  • Good old Mr. Edwards! :)
