i like your review. i especially enjoy that you gave a reality part to the presentation. i work in a juice bar at my gym, so i've been looking to get one for home use. mostly i was looking for a review to make sure that the juicer isn't a piece of junk that will break! this answered it for me! thanks a lot.
good video, sense of humor & info. Per your video, I'll buy the juicer & try not to hit the ceiling:o) thnx. BTW, the short glass you show with the map design - I have the same that I bought ages ago @Blommy's NYC -- love em. thnx again.
I got the stainless steele model at costco for $90 on friday, Im hooked! I already juiced about $30 of fruits and veggies in 2 days. For the one asking about pulp, it comes out a little grainy like a bottle of green machine, as far as peels, I dump it all in, when using fruits like oranges, the peel is good, its that white skin underneath thats bitter, remove that u eliminate most of the bitterness, and add a little ginger, gives a kick to whatever u juice and its good for headaches.
great video. i just used the newer version with the "no drip" spout, yah right. anyway when i was finished i noticed there wasn't much pulp in back basket it was mostly in the screen surrounding the blade.????? it was full. i juiced baby carrots that were already peeled. any suggestions? if not i'll send it back.

I love my juicer. Cleaning is much easier now. For the round filter part, I just run water over the 'outside' of it while I use either a cloth or brillo like pad and just run it along the outside. Then do inside. Takes only 15 seconds for me. The top piece where I put the fruit through, I just run my finger along the part where most is, and then use the spray nozzle. Takes a min at MOST. Is it TOTALLY clean? No. A very mild residue left? Yeah, but who cares. If it takes u 15 min, then...
What's that cutter thing called, the one you're using at 3:21? Does this juicer remove all the pulp or is their any gross pulp floating around in your juice? Also one last question, do you also have to remove the seeds, before juicing, for example, in the watermelon, apples and oranges?
@PauletteS1972 thanks for the good words and your welcome. There are other brands out there. If i were to give you advice it would be to look into them. I am still using this juicer and its working well.
I woke up this morning and my juicer is not working. The silver bar is in place and I pressed the reset button :( Do you have any idea what is wrong with it?
@TammyFlores1 Maybe the blade isnt tightened down? (i only do hand tight on the blade) Im not sure if that is what it could be though.. Ummmm. Maybe if your plug in the wall is powered only when a light switch is on? check that. It could be that the first piece you set on the base isnt flush or something? I would suggest to try different plugs around the house.. Otherwise you may have to give them a call and have them Man-up to that lifetime motor warranty they boast about.
Loved this review - and I was glad to see that the inside of your juicer looked like mine...I thought I had screwed up the reassembly. Big pain in the neck to wash, but it's easy to use and does seem to get a lot of juice out.
@MrGrowproductions I don't understand your point of view as a whole. I disagree when it comes to apples and carrots. Especially if you get the regular (non-organic labeled ) fruits and veggies. Please don't let the price of the food get you down when thinking about getting a juicer! P.S.: i saw a bag of carrots at vons (25 to 50 lbs.HUGE) it was 25bucks. I thought it was for horses. The label said "carrots for juicing"... It was awesome. I literally couldn't fit the bag in my fridge if i wanted
@MrGrowproductions A bulk bag of organic carrots is pretty cheap. So you can just juice a bunch of carrots or something.. It is expensive to juice some what, but if you find organic bulk stuff it'll be worth it. I would buy organic stuff in bulk and there would be no way to eat all of it before it rotted...so that was one of the reasons I got a juicer.
Great video! Will you share what programs you use to put it together, edit it etc. And how long did that take? What kind of learning curve can one expect to be able to include that many elements in a video. Thanks and WOW, great video production.
@BootcampFranklinTN Thanks for the good words. I used Windows Movie Maker (2.3 i think?) (WMM). I am not a fan of it but it works. I made the music with a CASIO Privia 88 key keyboard. Wired into the MIC jack in the computer and recorded the audio with Audacity (free online software, google it). The movie actually took me about 3 to 5 days depending on how you look at it. I spent a great deal of time on it compared to my others. I was experimenting. I used windows PAINT for the graphics.
PART TWO OF two part comment..... As for a learning curve regarding videos with this many elements... I have been doing computer video editing off and on since 2000 (Mac and Windows) (premiere, final cut, imovie, WMM). I apparently, according to many who watch me do it, "Make it look easy". So videos like this may be hard to do right off-the-bat. I will say this, i like MAC computers. They are expensive though. The program iMovie would be a GREAT place to start. good luck! and tks for question!
Oh and sorry. I used a SONY DCR-TRV250 video camera. Not the greatest by anyone's standards in the movie industry, youtube industry, but it gets the job done just as well if you ask me.
nice. I dont doubt that breville could be better. it costs more, that often times translates to better product. I use my lalanne a LOT, its still kickin. Sorry to hear about your lalanes. if you want the BEST .. Go norwalk in my opinion. If i get a breville juicer i will do a review on it!, and juice a bunch.
this was hilarious thank you, i was curious if you were making it for a family with two small kids is it exspensive to buy enough fruit and vegs. just to get a juice 3 or more times a day?
Thanks im glad the video helped. I would say two apples and 4 carrots juiced a day would be a decent start, per person. Small children probably couldnt drink that much? Its really not that much juice though. That comes out to about 2 and 5 dollars per person depending where i live. Check out your grocery store. You will find that fruits and vegetables arn't that expensive compared to many of the packaged foods. Apples and carrots also last a fair amount of time. Good luck. Talk to your doctor!

only bad thing about juicing is that fruits and vegtables are expensive. And thats just my opinion. Cool video thumbs up!!!
