@mbasse They were called "Creative Expansion Cards." Basically, they were the precursor to today's Scene modes on a camera. You could put in a card for "Sports" and it would set the shutter speed faster and the aperture wider, etc. for action shots. You could still do all of this stuff manually, too, but if you were new to the camera you could just put in the right card for what you wanted to do and then not have to learn all the variables you'd need to set manually.
hello guys, could someone tell me what are those cards used on minolta 7700i, as seen on 5:55 (it's SLR so it cant be memory card right ?)

ハードオフなんかで見ても、今まで見向きもしなかった80年代・90年代のテレカメラが猛烈に欲しくなった。

刀根麻理子の1秒の夏の曲のCMでミノルタαー7000を中古品で買いました。それだけ衝撃的だったのですね。今はｺﾆｶと合併しｺﾆｶﾐﾉﾙﾀって社名に変わりましたが、ﾐﾉﾙﾀって私の地元関西ですものね。私の居住区にもﾐﾉﾙﾀの工場あり、ｺﾝﾋﾟｭｰﾀ関係の仕事で(ﾐﾉﾙﾀはお客様)昔時折行ってました。
