My daughter Melissa was given 1 hr to live at Columbia Presbyterian Hosp Bx NY. Both her lungs were unable to stop bleeding. Drs said that not even a lung transplant would save her. Awesome, these always cheer me up. I love the "Jesus: The Miracle Maker". I think that is the best Jesus movie for Children. For Adults, "Jesus", "The Greatest Story Ever Told", I think do the best job, althrough they all take lincenses with it, I think the "Miracle Maker" is historically, anthropological, and archelologically most accurate and gives the best idea of his adult life and ministry. It also shows possesion by demons well and what that is really like.

Why don't you just come out and say you are an atheist? This "agnostic" idea stems from the fear of offending the masses. Its not PC to say you are an atheist even in today's so called liberal society. So we use the softer "agnostic" to pretend that we haven't completely ruled out an afterlife even though we believe it to be complete horse shit. You either believe or don't . The Pope himself could be considered "agnostic" in that he has the odd fleeting doubt in his mind.

From all things I've heard, Jesus was a great guy. Although I'd personally consider turning bread and fish into lots more bread and fish to be almost trivial compared to his teachings, like the story of the good samaritan and the rich man and the eye of a needle, or the value of the widdow's mite.

But then again, how are you going to get kids interested in this? "Look kids! He made lots of fish and bread! Jesus is MAGIC!" It kind of deludes who he was though...

God and Christ believe in you and they do exist. They helped me a lot through prayer and in the strength of my faith. I would rather live a life believing their existence, rather than not believing and finding out when it's too late for salvation. You should give them a try, even for a trial period of time just to see for yourself.
