  • My JK has power locks and all I need to do to unlock my doors (if I don't have my key fob) is unzip the quarter panels and unlock the doors using the power door lock switch that automatically unlocks all doors including the tail gate.

  • Unfortunately, this is not designed for jeeps that have power locks.

  • @23peeweeduke We have done some research on this and I can’t find anything to validate your statement. I’ve found that when your doors are locked, the unlock button on your Jeep is disabled. The key fob or key must be used to activate the power locks. If you’ve had some other experience with this, please let us know so that we can make sure other customers have the right information. Thanks!

  • @4wd I own an o7 jk that has power door locks. If I accidentally loose my key fob or if someone wanted to get in my jeep, all it takes is the unzipping of the rear window or the quarter panels then unlocking all doors using the automatic door lock switch that also unlocks the tailgate. I tested it to make sure before responding to your post. Please let me know if there is a different way of keeping the tailgate locked even after using the automatic door lock switch, Thanks in advance,

  • @23peeweeduke thank you for the information. I don’t know of any other way to prevent this with power locks. Again we really appreciate your incite.

  • great video, but needs better lighting. Keep up the posts.
