The soloist had a nice tone but lacked education on text, diction, and even the rhythm. The conductor misses a great opportunity at the end of this piece to show off the beautiful harmonies that Faure has written. It would have been great to slow the tempo poco a poco as the voices are ascending to the apex so that the listener could feel the tension and release between the male and female voices then as the voices move down fall back into tempo.
Male voices need to sing with more energy to stay on top of the notes that are on the higher side of their mid-range. There are a few female voices that aren't blending.
sounds like they are rushing through it, this is a piece that really needs to be savored slowly

They have a beautiful sound, they just need to work on their technique as a choir. Diction and timing are off in the whole piece.

Did the soloist just recently learn the piece? His diction and timing are off. No expression.
Choir (tenors) had sloppy start.
Sorry, I normally don't make negative comments. But this is one of my favorite pieces.

Choir is beautiful...baritone lacks energy and I think an understanding of the text.
