How do i comb my hair when i get out of shower every time I get water on it in the shower it gets really really curly. I usually go to school when its kinda wet and let it air dry thorugh out the day but am I supposed to part it? in the middle or just shake my head after i get out of the shower.

You don't have to part you do anything to your hair if it gets a little wet in the shower. If it's dripping wet then you may want to use a terry cloth towel or an old t-shirt and squeeze the water out if you don't intent to use the kinky curly

Ok my question is while I take the shower my hair is dripping wet. I know im supposed to comb it sideways or straight back or front???? I dont know plz help me.

I don't comb my hair everyday and you don't have to comb yours either. But when you do comb your hair just comb from end to root. If you want it combed backwards then start at the back and work your way forward.

I try doing that but my hair gets tangled after I sleep plz ??. I know I have to sleep but if I do it tangles it.

people like us with super curly hair have that issue. It's like it gets tangled even after you comb thru it. You can try trimming your hair and do a deep condition each week, also use a satin pillow case if you can, use a leave in detangling contioner and you can also use a leave in to work thru your hair with your fingers in the mornings to remove the tangles. if you want to you can braid your hair in 2 to 4 huge plaits and that helps some people with detangling.

Did you apply in the shower or did you do it in section in front of the mirror while detangling as you go!

1) shampoo hair (no oils or glceryine i use miss jessies or jane carter)

2) condition hair remember no oils

3) detangle hair with conditioner in

4) rinse conditioner and squeeze dry with hands *no towel

5) apply a leave in that has no oils (kinky curly knot today)

6) then apply kinky curly curling custard in sections *do not over apply start with a little and see how curl forms

7)air dry or dry with a diffuser

I'm still on the fence about this product only because I dropped all that money on Ms. Jessies and didn't like those products, so anything expensive gives me pause. I wish Kinky-Curly had sample sizes! My $3 stuff gets the job done well but I want to smell the K-C brand. We'll see though, I do like your results and your mom's.

LOL no, i have not been paid by Kinky Curly, I spend my money like anybody and got lucky. not all products work for everyone but this one did for me. remember application and hair type dictate if it will work, you also have to have clean hair and no oil or glycerin in it

There are both good and bad reviews on here and they have helped many customers actually 'see' what the product can do fo their hair and how to apply it correctly. So sorry you didnt have good results with it.

there is a bit of a learning curve with our products and they are somewhat finicky. If you email customer service they can help 'trouble shoot' what issues you may have and help you try to get better results

for me personally i like the kinky curly better because of the ingredients and there isn't protein in it. and i only use a lil so the kinky curly will last a lil while if wash every four days like me

well kinky curly is designed for 2 things. one is to loosen tight coils like mine and linda's and then to give you a loose wavy curl. It also depends on how you apply the product as well and indeed all products don't work for everybody
