What if: we can educate people on genuine ways to reduce our carbon footprint without unnecessary consumption? Only a mindless queer would buy a prius. They value fashion over function and ends up hurting our environment. Best way to help the environment is to refuse consumption. Utilize public transportation and learn the ways to save gas. (Ex. coast more, accelerate slower, stick to the speed limit, refuel in the morning or late in the evening, don't crank the ac, park in the shade, etc.)

No. Heat is generated while chilling the coolant/air, so they would cancel each other out.

Anyway, on a grand scale like that, so many solar panels would capture more of the suns energy (instead of letting it bounce back into space) and in one way or another heat the earth even more with it, whether it be A/C systems or by powering your electronics.

Of course, that's on a scale that would be impossible for humans to achieve within the foreseeable future, so for now, hooray for solar power =)

i think that electric powered/solar powered cars don't move fast enough. it takes to much power to do that.

The solar panals woldent be taking over. just suplementing the pouer supply of the gass engin to increse the fule milage, and the baterys woold store the power for later use when parked.

actually the solar system is exclusive to the ventilation system. What happens is you press a button to activate the solar panels then turn off the car and get out. Lets say it's 75 degreese outside and the car's temp goes to 85. Then the panels would circulate the cooler air outside inside the car so it takes less power to coll down the car futher using the AC. The technology is still pretty young to be powering the motor.
