The debt ceiling deal was bad for America. The US debt rating was lowered by Moody's because the deal was so irresponsible. We could have gotten a better deal if the Republicans controlled the Senate, but unfortunately they did not. Moody's was looking for spending cuts of about five times higher than the actual cuts ($10 trillion compared to $2 trillion) and they wanted the cuts to start immediately. Obama and the Dems are destroying this country and their once patriotic party.

When Obama says "increasing revenues" that is code for tax. Also, when he talks billions that sounds like a great deal of money, but remember that trillions to billions is like millions to thousands. What if someone told you, "I make 50k a year, but I now owe 10 million dollars and creditors are harrassing me. I have been spending a million a year average, but don't worry, I have a plan. I'll cut out 200k in spending each year". You'd call them crazy. Same idea going on here.

FOX News claimed to have one, a guy named Tremblay. Google the story. Tremblay says FOX misquoted him and he wants them to retract the story. The debt ceiling deal was bad for America. The US debt rating was lowered by Moody's because the deal was so irresponsible. We could have gotten a better deal if the Republicans controlled the Senate, but unfortunately they did not. Moody's was looking for spending cuts of about five times higher than the actual cuts ($10 trillion compared to $2 trillion) and they wanted the cuts to start immediately. Obama and the Dems are destroying this country and their once patriotic party.

The printing of money out of thin air is going to make an inflation nitemare. China and the IMF are considering removing the dollar as the world currency. Two 'summers of recovery' has done nothing. Going back to pre-Bush tas rate will barly get you 60b more-that is 2 months payment on the interest only on the debt.

I bet the uber rich would be willing to pay a little more if the leeching poor received a little less so the middle class could get some breathing room to support themselves.
