  • I'm 19 and I thinks this song is amazing

  • he also smoked gpc cigarettes and that was what he autographed

  • i met gary richrath at peppermint twist back in the 80"s and didnt know who he was till he got up and sand. i ended up buying him 3 or 4 drinks and he did the same for me and i said i cant believe how much he sounds like reo speed wagon and he then told me he was in the band.... the peppermint twist was in between beech grove indiana and indianapolis. he had the only open table to sit at

  • I think this sounds as good or better then when it was first out. Kevin couldn't sound better. It's a timeless song and this is awesome rock when it was the best!! They still got it !! LOVE it !!

  • love this song.

  • Glad I can finally say I've seen REO as many times as my mother has! Thanks for teaching me to listen to the good stuff, Mom!

  • TIMELESS BRILLIANCY!!KEVIN CRONIN ROCKS![REO SPEEDWAGON] AN ICONIC BAND WITH CULT CLASSICS.HUGE FAN OF KEVIN CRONIN!!

  • Looks like im one of the few kids my age who listens to stuff like this haha. I actually missed out on seeing REO and Styx not long ago. Disappointment.

  • They remind me of boston

  • still got it. fair play to them

  • I k ow Bruce hall I'm serious!

  • GREAT SONG THIS IS ! KAT NORTHVILLE MICHIGAN

  • i love this one!! nice

  • is THE BAND STILL TOGATHER

  • good song

  • TOTALMENTE ENAMORADA DE ESTA CANCION !!!

  • Thanks to Charlie Sheen for reminding me how great REO Speedwagon are. Have bought several of their albums since Charlie's YouTube vid featured this song. Even without the great slide guitar of Gary Richrath these guys are great. Such an iconic voice Kevin Cronin has.

  • When I am "under the gun" I sometimes limp then checkraise, but I never take it on the run.

  • i saw REO in 1972 0r 73 in lansing il at lan -oak park it was free and they showed up in a old 60s chevy van with REO SPEEDWAGON on the sides of it that was the so great back then

  • like if ur listening to this in 2011

  • Taked on the run! Reo

    Wish you were here!pink f.

    Patience! Guns n roses

    The last train! Cinderella

    Amo estas canciones!!!!

  • I agree.....sorry for the miscomunication. When any band starts to change it's line up after a long time together and then starts to replace them, the band is never the same. When Gratzer left during "THE HITS" album with the two new singles, I was sad. I'm just glad I got to see them in their original lineup as intended. Kinda like Journey is not the same without Steve Perry :( I wish gary all the best and hope he is doing well. You should call or write him.

  • I still miss Gary.

  • kc

  • i love that guitar

  • I heard these guys at EAA Airventure 2011 in Oshkosh . . . what an amazing time their song music took me back to. And their music was amazing too!

  • Awesome song! We'll be seeing them next week at the Ventura Fairgrounds!

  • 6 people where born 2000 or later

  • 6 people slipped and hit the wrong button.

  • WOW, no auto tune! thats deff a refresher

  • @Dillson01 Thats because unlike todays deadbeat artist these guys had real Talent not just looks.

  • My gosh, his voice is still so sexy and he's still got the moves he had in the 80's! REO's music has brought me thru so much in my life! Thank you all.

  • long live the 80s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i love this music 80s music will never die

  • @paula731000 rock on paula731000!!!!!!!!!!

  • As I was shopping today on Martha's Vineyard the song was playing on the radio and the female cashier and I were singing both with this song. I'm 38 but never heard the song before. Amazing.

  • i dont forget the bands from the 70s and 80s.

  • now thats a voice, not many guys have a high pitch like him. hes a natural. theres only one other guy who i think can get the high pitch is the lead singer from styx.

  • @Evanhardlife I presume you mean Steve Perry? Freddy Mercury HAD this in his range, but then again there wasn't much NOT in his range...

  • @wildcatter63 Steve Perry was the lead singer for Journey. Styx never had a lead singer. They switched up between James Young, Dennis DeYoung, and Tommy Shaw.

  • @Evanhardlife dont forget russell hitchcock from the band airsupply

  • @Evanhardlife Leo Sayer could do it too

  • Timeless band, truly amazing!!!

  • Superb!

  • 6 People don't Know Good Music!

  • Justin Bieber: All the gods told me I had Talent

    REO Speedwagon: NO We Didn't

  • awesome I love this song and Reo S...

  • Gary and Kevin had creative differences. REO was clearly at its best when they were both adding there own touches to their music. Shame they couldn't continue to work together. We could have had decades of this great music. Gary could shred with anybody, bar none!

  • Hey drdave, I dunno know how "OLD" you are, but without Kevin Cronin, there would be no REO Speedwagon. Gary Richrath did write the song, and your point is? Richrath was asked to leave the band over musical disagreements with Cronin. I wasn't there, you wern't there, so we can't even begin to speculate what even happened. Furthermore, Dave Amato has been playing with the band ever since the 1990 release of The Earth, a Small Man, His Dog and a Chicken. If you want to complain.....Journey?

  • @thisislandearth Gee since I grew up 3 doors from Gary, and have known him all his life, perhaps you'd take MY word? Gary got strung out on drugs real bad. It's the same story for a lot of rockers. I haven't talked to him in ages, but I do know he was having a real hard time with getting clean. I told him he always had a friend here, but you can't make your friends do what you want them to, you know? Gary was one of the finest guitarist there was, bar none. REO -Gary= not REO.

  • @thisislandearth PS, REO swiched vocalist 3 times the first 3 records. Joe and Matt shared vocals at first, Terry came on around 68 or so, Gary entered 1970 or so. Kevin came on in 72, and left, coming back in 73 after Mike Murphy did RTSO. So,if you want to get picky, Neil is the only founding member. They used to use my 1960 Olds station wagon to move their equipment. It had a lot of room in it. Just a history lesson with crap no one gives a damm about.

  • Why are they using Gary's song???

  • My dog's asshole looks more stagewothy

  • kevin is an ugly son of bitch???

  • 5 people are fucked......big time,,,,,JA...

  • what happened to music that took the heart and soul of the band to make

  • Music now a days lost the whole meaning of it. It use to be meaningful and actually talent. Now its all fake pop bullshit! But we all know this is REAL music \m/

  • Wow, still amazing performance :P

  • No Richrath = No REO.

  • @dhutch10 your an idiot. cronin is REO.

  • winning!

  • Sounding good, boys - even if you look like a bunch of pastors from Orange County megachurches :-)

  • all gringos looks like a mumie as an ld man!!

  • охуенное видео!!!!просто усраться как классно!!!!!!!

  • @galim1972 Blah blah blah blah is all i understood from your message

  • Still and awsome band live......sound a little different with age and different members but still great

  • Damn friends always ruining my plans.

  • Just grab Tiger Blood, and enjoy this song! Cause' Charlie Sheen said so!!!

  • @atropesend If you new anything about music from the soul or respect for others you would not slam these guys. reo speed wagon has been one of the most "original" bands in the world. rockmefanfoever

  • @racrjsdja Yeah, original if you like listening to Cher while your getting pumped by your brother. This shit is more far away from rock then rick james after rehab.

  • around 1:55 I love how he throws the pick an jus grabs another 1 like its nuthin lol :D

  • this band kicks ass

  • they are still great heard them friday night!!!! lol

  • still good

  • How old is Kevin now? 75 - 80 LOL!!!

  • Keep on lovin you, or Cant fight this feeling were their biggest hit songs. This is a close third for sure! Like Totally!

  • I saw them in 2010 with Styxx, they rocked but everyone missed Gary Richrath.

  • Their best song!!!!!

  • Well, he still sings good. But as the band has aged, you can certainly tell the difference in the way he chooses to sing this song, avoiding all the high notes that are in the original version.

  • Gary's voice still sounds great! REO was a great band when I was growing up and I still like listening to their stuff... brings back a lot of memories...

  • awesome! If you dont have a stereo system on your computer then you need to get one! Sounds great from my system!!

  • That has to be their biggest hit?

  • 5 people need to stay in mental hospital :-)

  • @Edwinranger2010 JAJAJA ..ES VERDAD..! soryy ... it's true..!

  • 70' and 80' the best music of all the times...live reo speedwagon ..bands forever!!!

  • Damn, that sounds good. Those who gave this a "dislike" need to wake up and get a life!

  • I'm laughing and I don't mean to! Changed his voice up just a little; and made it a country song!

  • I swear i could hear another guitar player in the background somewhere?

  • Richrath made his own bed my friend....just another so-called victim of the spoils of success. Kevin Cronin has always been and will continue to be the glue that holds REO together.

  • 4 people dont know good music.

  • REO Speedwagon is a underrated group. they have a lot more hits than ppl think. keep on rocking REO, being as old as you are you deserve to rock as well as you do.

  • those girls in the front want to get fucked by these gods!!!!!1

  • I would pay to see them again!!

  • those old farts look pretty good!

  • holy shit this song brings back memory's i didn't know i had still..lmao

  • Cronin, THIS IS Gary Richrath's SONG, NOT YOURS! If it were'nt bad enough you kicked Gary out of his own band, but now you keep STEALING his music??? REO is a bloody joke without Richrath!!!

  • The lead guitarist kind of looks like Scott Bakula during the Quantum Leap years.

  • man...I remember this like it was yeasterday..singing along to it at 15 years old!! Great stuff..Great band!! Love the that they are still ROCKIN!!!

  • I knew it. They are so awesome someone got them bronzed.

  • It's so nice to see them still perform powerfully. It makes me remember the concert that I saw them nearly 30 years ago here in Tokyo. I'm getting old but they look still young.

  • 4 people are going to get eaten by the Ronald McDonald Monster, (If you have no idea what I'm talking about), watch the video (Happy Meal)

  • OMG, just as good as they were in the old days. His voice has barely aged lol, LuV u REO Speedwagon!

  • Just as good as they were back in their day.

  • wow 4 people just have shitty taste in music

  • Boy did they slow the tempo down on this song from the original. Not sure why but it now sounds like a country western song. Eww.....

  • man i woulda loved to be at this concert. REO speedwagon is a great band.

  • @blankfreak1991 I saw them back in 2004......and holy shit they were good. One of those bands BETTER than their studio albums..their sound was louder and more 'electric'

  • @mbenzsl2000 i bet.. thats awesome.. i woulda loved to be there. REO is for sure one of the best bands out there no doubt about it.

Jk I don't know much about the bands history but it doesn't surprise me that some of these guys also had drug related issues just like any other band

  • @beanierene

    Thanks!

  • the hormonies on this version are amazing.

  • I don't think anyone seriously believes REO has to settle for State Fairs, which, by the way, isn't the worst fate! They were featured on The Early Show in the past year, and they kicked ass. Thanks for posting!
