  • anybody think that it's a depiction of the soul or spirit flying? not the actual human.. perhaps the mind during meditation.. dunno. god bless.

  • Thank you everyone involved in this.

  • While in "spirit form"... I looked up into the sky at the clouds, which were grey and it was in the evening. Immediately the clouds split perfectly in half as though a giant sabre had cut through them to reveal a bright blue sky... For some strange reason I wasn't too impressed, all I cared about was getting back to my body so I could tell people what had happened.

  • The prayer was simple, complete and total compassion for all people, I prayed until I cried for the hope of their well-being and futures, asking God for all I desire for them. Even my enemies. Just as a closed my eyes after praying and laid down... I could see 2 tiny white lights with my eyes closed... they seemed to get closer and closer until they entered my eyes, then the "vision" began. Very cool stuff, haha.

  • In some cases what might be considered a lucid dream is actually an out of body experience, an example might be where you suddenly find yourself fully aware of your surroundings "awake" floating in your room looking at your body laying in your bed.... able to determine that somehow you are seperated from your body yet still fully concious. I've done it before just from praying for a few hours straight, then laid down and immediately went out of my body and was floating 20-feet above my house...

  • its obviously representing lucid dream experiences which there very adept at.

  • why can you fly in your dreams? because man used to fly.

  • Tibetan mystics can fly but cannot feed the poor. Tibetan mystics can levitate but cannot bring their people out of poverty. Tibetan mystics have spiritual power but... uh oh, here comes the Chinese army! LOL

  • @buddhasknowbest not funny

  • @buddhasknowbest shhh... you'll upset the True Believers™

  • @buddhasknowbest It is best not to tie yourself up in karma for thousands of experiences.

What is one moment of the test of dignity worth to eternal peace? Inner peace? One learns to know through Dharma.

  • @BoardSkate73

We speak of the poor people, their poverty, and sad condition. And all you can talk about is self, self, self. You wouldn't know the Dharma if it crawled up your ass and laid eggs. That eternalist peace of yours will give you millions of experiences. Enjoy.

  • hmmmmmmmmm

  • Wow! This is scientific proof! :)

  • Sooo Beautiful!! Wishes From London..

  • Lovely video, full of tantalizing enigma.

  • Quote "The Devil can cite scriptures to suit his own purpose." Unquote - Shakespere in The Merchant of Vernice

  • "From the viewpoint of absolute truth, what we feel and experience in our ordinary daily life is all delusion. Of all the various delusions, the sense of discrimination between oneself and others is the worst form, as it creates nothing but unpleasant." - His Holiness the Dalai Lama

  • @dorje168 awesome words

  • yogi's are the real vermin.

  • So what is your point here? Only saying that great Yogis can do anything right?

  • DC comics have also published many images of individuals flying.

  • Hi Pedro,

I composed the music specially for the video so I don't have a name yet. Possible title would be: The Flying Mystics Announcing Their Next Flight :-)

    Take care,

    Jose

  • Wow, what an awesome composition.

    ^_^

  • what is the naqme of the music??

  • I hope you have a good life jose

I always remember your light in our country

somehow, your light shine trough me

and enlight other people around me

I always knew you were enlightened

    only you don't know

    a friend from Venezuela

    Max.

  • Dear Max,

Thank you for your beautiful thoughts.

The light you are talking about, comes from your good heart my friend. Keep it shining!

    Take care,

    Jose

  • You may be right about ashrams being filled with egotistical and neurotic people. However this does not mean that occult powers are invalid. Being "enlightened" and having these powers does not exempt one from being human. I actually study western mysticism and have met people with occult powers and they have the same problems as their eastern counterparts. There is little difference really.

  • flting is a yogi ability

  • I admire them, pure and holy people.

  • Nice art it must be said, but flying mystics? It's not only the things your libel to read in bible that aren't necessarily so.

  • Fuck if I was enlightened and could fly I wouldnt show it to this damn world. What, so they can put it on youtube for closeminded fucks to gawk over? And then try to figure out where the strings are attached? I think once you reach that point, those powers matter very little to you-as you see that this physical world is very much an illusion, and is inherently empty.

  • inherently

    empty

  • Yes that's a good point. I've often thought the same about Jesus coming back - some feral youths might just nail him to a bus shelter and film it with their mobiles. If you flew they'd probably chuck rocks at you. Such is the enlightenment of Mankind!

  • this istrue iswear god, callme crazybut...idid levitate once while i was sleeping,i kind of woke up,i was halfawake and i realizethat from my waist to my head i was like flying without doingany effort, iwas scared at the begining but then i tryed to do the same with my legs and i couldnt,it only happenedtome once i am tryingto findthe answer but i dont really know anything about Buddhism or levitation, and i don´t worry too muchbut iwas curious, let me know if you know or recomendsomething

  • what you had is a natural, surprisingly common, but often misunderstood occurence known as an "out of body experience" (also known by its acronym "OBE"). i've done it several times, & it actually seems to run in my family, but unfortunately i can't claim the plesant experiences they'vee had (i was scared to death everytime! haha). but it's different for everyone....

some poeple can even induce it upon will!

do some research online and read diff books... then make up your own mind!

    <3

  • I already did

  • there is nothing wrong about flying with the body , we do it in airplanes a couple of times during our lifetimes so why not with the body'

It´s the mind that´s flying , because you go up , and the body is an illusion,

    y

  • the black people who gave the world buddhism jainism ect flew noone else. the cave people merely immitate the spirit practice the gods use it. negro gods my stupid son.

  • actually it was indian people...not black...

And they were Not cave people..it was during those times of ancient civilizations...

  • How come these people who supposedly can fly never exist in the present, they're always some figures from the past...only for the gullible

  • The tradition is kept hidden becuz of guys

like who have disrespect for the Masters and

would only be seeking secondary siddhis (miraculous powers) rather than the primary

siddhis of non-dual wisdom and boundless compassion...not that these words mean much to

    you, i suppose.

  • he makes a good point however, you'd think that over the almost 200 years since cameras have been around, someone might have snuck a photo here and there of the event.

my gut tells me that this is entirely possible, but it does seem strange that nobody wants to do it in front of a camera.

it is not that people would see simply a cool trick, I think people would realize that a fundamental understanding of physics is flawed, and that anything is therefore possible through the power of mind.

  • the world has had more time to wallow in it's own sin putting our powers to sleep

  • Have a good day brother! may your life be completely full by peace, grace and harmony! that everything in your lives go better than to anyone! and long life to you! May the happiness, peace and love be presented in your life forever...

    Olebruc

may the wisdom of the buddha be in your life forever!

  • Lovely, thanks.

  • I miss Rinpoche. He was fun and funny. I learned a lot from him. I haven't met Shedrup-la, I don't believe. Is he in Atlanta or has he gone back?

  • beautiful. Thank you.

  • Glenn Mullin is my uncle, truly someone enlightened!!!

  • A Most wonderfuly delightful show... much love and thanks

  • you seem to know alot about Buddhism, my friend. But, instead of having a violent outlook on this religion, why not look at it openly, and freely? Tis the best way to enjoy life.

  • great video, keep the good vibes going ppl share with all, positive outlook and compassion true n simplest path to happiness for everyone, spread the word! lol :)
