This version of Climax Jump came out during the movie Final Countdown, thus the title "The Final", and it was also in this movie that Strike Form first appeared, and is still only a movie rider

4kids isn't touching the thing, just airing it. I'm positive someone from the fandom was at the KRDK Wrap party, who's seen the first few episodes, and he confirms that it's awesome.

Oh thank god. But you can see the influence of Americanized tokusatsu shows on it. There was no mention of the original plotline, instead it's...ventara. Maybe from the vent cards?

It's better off as it's own show. I'd be terribly uninterested in the show if it blatantly copied off of Ryuki, because then it wouldn't be good by itself, but instead get its quality by being derivative. It'll be good, Steve Wang and his brother are fans of the original and will respect the source material.

It has potential to be an entertaining watch, it's just starting to get it's bearings. I agree with you on Xaviax though. He's going to be PResque and stay PResque because I'm sure he'll get as much characterization as any other toku villain(coughnonecough).

Not really. Xaviax was a combination of Shocker and Shiro Kanzaki. He tricks other people, though.

While remaking Ryuki and brought it to the West in 2009, they also took aspects from the Showa era series.
