  • when something like this came to the cinemas it was like the greatest thing of the year and both children and grown ups enjoyed it.

  • I was obviously expecting this to be a solid 9 film based on initial reviews, I saw it on freecartoonsus and it ended up being way much better than even I had anticipated.

  • The reason why this movie took six years to make was because all of the animation back then had to be hand written there weren't any computers yet. This trailer looks so old but when you watch the film on TV it looks so new.

  • 6 YEARS!! It was done in 6 years!!! It's almost unbelievable today, isn't it? With all this modern technology if a movie takes more than a year, a year and half to be done, everyone goes mental for the waiting!!

    Still, I'd prefer to wait 6 years and watch a masterpiece like this, than waiting only 6 months and watch some piece of crap...

  • That's Art Gilmore as the announcer (who narrated a TON of movie trailers back then!)- this was a very short trailer, which whet the audience's appetite for the LONGER one that followed a short time after....

  • Hard to believe it's been 57 years...and still going strong! I've loved the story since I was a kid, and my two fave characters are Jaq and Gus. Can't wait to get back to WDW Florida to see the castle again.
