To be honest: a cover should IMHO create a new song by keeping the original alive.

And in my opinion, even if I still like PL's version more, this one really does that and is a great song.

Tho, I guess, "the last time" would also be the hardest one of PL to cover.

Septic did a great job, no matter if you prefer PL or them.

@ChristinaDarkRose Well I believe it is. Despite the fact that PL did start the whole goth/doom metal genre, they are an infinitely less talented band than SF. And by the way, they have much better songs than The Last Time.

@drebomanx I do like Septicflesh very very much,they are awesome,but Paradise Lost are gods!There is no way I would ever agree with you on this.OK,they do have better songs than The Last Time,but if you take The Last Time alone,without comparing it with the rest of PL songs it is a wonderful song.
