2nd part of dollar story-As I've become more spiritual, I've realised that I'm living in a multi-dimensional or time fragmented experience. I realised the loss of my father by suicide had affected my life since a child. I was already grieving his loss before his death. I pre-experience future events. Which is cool. I gave a homeless chap£10 -I had £20 left in my bank account. I got £1000 cheque clear soon after. Then I got a £2000 bill the week after lol-I'm working on this last one :)) xx
Hi Randy-I know how you got your refund before you tithed the dollar. It's because time is a man made measurement and does not actually exist. But for argument sake it's more like a spiral than a straight line. Therefore our experiences in linear time can interact with different parts of the spiral-past and future, therefore when you gave the dollar it had already rippled out to your past. Where the company sent the cheque! xx
I don't know if they tithed or not, but we can't assume they didn't or don't, unless we ask them. I'm sure that if they tithed, but didn't take the actions they did in the business world, they wouldn't have the wealth they do/ did, so no, their success can't be attributed to tithing alone. If you go to a wealth neighborhood and knock on all the doors of the house owners and ask them how they got wealthy, I doubt they'd attribute it to tithing. I'd like to see the results of a survey like that.
Let's be clear on one thing, I'm not here to argue. I'm interested in the truth, that's all. I agree that from a biblical point of view, there is no basis for tithing. In fact, God's children (those that have been "born of the water and of the spirit" (John 3:5, Acts 2:38) are to sow seeds in heaven, not here in this world. All the wealth in the world won't get you into heaven/ the kingdom, but neither will being poor. Only the blood of Christ can remit sin and reconcile you to God. See verses.
Lol I never had any of this ridiculous claims you had in your life such as refund checks and such forth. I tithes 20% when I tithed back in the day. So the question is who is at fault? God? Or me? Stopped tithing and got out if debt in a year. Odd.
@randygage You make no sense. Being out of debt is biblical. Abundant prosperity is what I have in Jesus, not things of this world. The real gospel seems to be ignored. Unfortunately, this has been adopted as the Gospel, pay tithes and God will bless you bla bla bla. No friend, God has already blessed us beyond measure. This life and everything in it is a vapor, here today- gone tomorrow. It's what we have in Christ that lasts. I help out those in need, when God leads me to.
@bigrndahouse I'm not arguing against getting out of debt. I definitely advocate that for everyone. The point I'm making is prosperity is more than that. Your opinion off prosperity is a common one. I don't share that, because I believe that prosperity includes many other things in addition to spiritual connection. It also involves health, relationships, peace, and yes - money and material things. If you are worried about paying your rent - you're not prosperous.
@randygage So why would God want you to store treasures here on earth? that’s contrary to the bible. You definitely have been brainwashed leading you to believe if you pay tithes then you will have better health, relationships, money, and material things. My grandpa paid tithes all his life yet he has cancer and his days are numbered. Try telling him this MumboJumbo. Again, if tithing applies so do the sacrifice of animals.
my story is this.. i'm a good person. i lead my family to follow what's right. I teach my family to be more positive in life. We stopped being critical w/ ourselves and other people. We are thankful for everything that we have in life. I have a job and my wife has a job. Are we healthy physically and emotionally over the yrs? yes! Do we have a house? no. Do we have money for down payment? NO.. are we making enough? no. Do we need more money? absolutely..
Look, I really enjoy your videos and your presenting style Mr Gage, and I wish I had the prosperity (financially) that you do. However, years of tithing hasn't produced the results, that's all. I've never received any "miraculous" money from anywhere. Maybe it worked for you, but it may also be that you have a lot of drive, faith and courage. I don't think that tithing on it's own does much. Really like your "No CV in TV" and "Pookie and Ray Ray" vids. All the best.
@gman21971 Remember tithing is only one of the seven spiritual laws to live by to manifest prosperity in your life. I hope you'll watch the other videos as well, or see my book, "The 7 Spiritual Laws of Prosperity." All the best, -RG
@randygage Ok, I bought the book, have read half, and have started tithing to my church again (6 months unemployed after tithing on the gross the entire time I was working). I am already living beyond my means, but I'm willing to give tithing another shot based on the principles you're teaching. If I was going purely from the bible, I wouldn't be doing it because I can explain away every verse in there about tithing. So let's see what happens.
@randygage Ok, I bought the book and have read half. I've started tithing to my church again, let's see what happens. I'm also using T. Harv Ecker's "Millionaire Mind" book as a financial management system for the little income I currently have. However, he says to tithe on the net, as does my pastor. I've always done it on the gross, but if I'm to follow his system, I must do it on the net. Any advice? I'd rather do it on the net myself, even though it's only about $5 difference a fortnight.
I tithed because it was forced since God will curse me but when i read Malachi uhm i started sacrificing animals not blind ones either...but that got me in trouble. sucks cause i was trying to do what God told me to do...Also i gave with a cheerful heart so that way i wouldnt be cursed lol. load of crap if you ask me. Prosperity Gospel is no different than a Ponzi Scheme. i stopped tithing and i do give money when i have the money..im gettin out of debt faster too. its not 10% defies ur pov
@gman21971 now i beleive in giving but tithing was always in the form of some agricultural effect. there was gold and silver back then so if that was directed to a monatarily value then why is it not? I have been blessed beyond anything that money can buy..my salvation.
@bigrndahouse The general message in the new testament seems to be "sow unto heaven", and not to accumulate worldly wealth, due to it's temporary nature. However, being a video on prosperity, maybe there's something to tithing, after all Randy has been at the bottom and become successful after seeking knowledge and applying it. He's the one with the results so maybe he knows something we don't.
@gman21971 So has Donald trump, Warner, Gates, the late Jobs tithe? I dont think they do or did. Donald Trump was at the bottom but then went to the top fast and has been constant. Your argument is null.
Tithing doesn't work. Correct, it's unbiblical to tithe money. Even though money existed during the Law period, Israel were never commanded by God to tithe on their wages. I tithed for 8 years and it definitely hasn't worked. The modern tithe is just the organized church's way of getting you to give them 10% of your income. It can't be universal otherwise God would have commanded his people to do it.
I believe in giving and sharing my abundance but tithing in the bible had NOTHING to do with money. Old Testament tithing was tithing of grain, oil, animals and didn't involve money at all. Please read your bibles!!!
@meteachu01 except that there is not difference between money and grain, oil or animals. The only difference is that we have invented a "universal" currency instead of having to trade goats for iPhones ;-)
@mkschreder The money I earn from my job is the work of my hands. The grain, oil(source of oil), animals comes from the work of God's hands. The people in the old testament gathered the tithes (grain, oil, animals) came together and ate it while giving thanks to God for supplying them with it. For me, this shows the "heart" of God. For what I've seen, many people at churches tithe but ignore the needs of others around them. That's why I don't tithe to a church but to charities.
It definitely works! I just tithe for the first time last week, after a couple of days I got a call and I found out about a refund of $ 3000.totally unexpected.I do not go to any particular church so I gave my tithe to charity. There are so many people around the world that they are very much in need.
Wow! It really works Randy. Stepping out if faith I believe is the reason. Married my wife out of faith. Then a few weeks later found a better job. Started Tithing 10% right off the bat. Out of no where I received a check for $5000.00 in the mail. Thought to myself that $5000.00 isn't enough to buy my dreams! So I Tithed it back to the church. About a month later to the day I won over $800,000 in the lottery. Thanks for sharing Randy. This stuff really works.
Hey Randy. My name is Colton and I am 17 years old. Since I was about 3 I have been surrounded with resources on prosperity from my Dad.
