Caravan's my favorite group, and this song's my favorite song. From America, let me say "God Bless the Queen"! Our thanks for the music of Great Britian.
This song really got me into Caravan. I love the eccentric trippy lyrics and the instrumental bit at 2.30. I too discovered this gem on Prog Brittania. Where would we be without BBC4? People with discerning taste would have buggar all to watch.
WHO! was that girl on the cover? I might be sad but I grew up with that LP sleeve. Look through the windows...an English countryside. No roads. No cities. Just fields. Thats what Caravan is to me.
Ce disque a tourné sur mes différentes platines durant de longues années.Caravan reste pour moi l'un des grands groupes de la scene british et c'est toujours une immense joie que de réécouter leurs morceaux.
Caravan is one of the best bands in progressive music and for sure the most underated! This record is a masterpiece along with "In the land of Grey and Pink" and others
Jorph asks if Caravan and Hatfeild are related. Yes they most certinly are; shareing some key members. Jorph check out the Canturbury scene for some great redcordings...try EGG, National Health for another rich vein.
Great Music from a time when musicanship was important.
This was one of songs that turned me on when I was a kid in junior high in Holland early '70's. The first band I was allowed to watch performing was: Hatfield and the North. I was 15yo & stoned outta my mind. Weren't they related to Caravan?
Thanks for posting, lovely tune, dodgy lyrics. Medicine gun indeed. I would forgive Caravan for anything...in the top 5 of best British bands ever. Great to hear this again.

Listen to all of Richard Sinclair's solo stuff it's thousands times better than Caravan. He is pure magic.
