Srimad Bhagvatam and Mahabharata are written by the Great Ved Vyasa so it means if whatever is mentioned in Srimad Bhagvatam is accepted as correct then whatever is written in Mahabharata should also be correct.

In Mahabharata Anushasan Parva its clearly mentioned by Bhisma Pitamah to Yudishtra that Lord Krishna has performed great penance for pleasing Lord Shiva.Lord Krishna himself says in the Anushasan Parva that he has done meditation to obtain boons from Lord Shiva and Goddess Uma.

you obviously have no idea then. read shiv puran. shiva has taken birth numerious times too. even during ram avtar he took birth as hanuman. hanuman is rudra avtar of shiva. read shiv puran before commenting.

well if you are not talking about shiva from trimurti then you are talking about the brham. brham is not called shiva. the vishva roop is not showing god as a supreme entity. its showing then only god exists and nothing else. in matter , in life, in death everywhere we see its god. since nothing can exixt without him its all him and nothing else. vishva roop is not showing shiva or any other as supreme entity. its showing god as all and only prevailing.

As someone said in his comment that no body can take place of the old Ramayan yes i agreee thats true but with this i think i little other way too that this new Ramayan is great and Fabulous and will surely make a new and special place for itself in the hearts of everyone and very soon will be seen in the top lists of Tv shows..I deeply wish luck to the new Ramayan for its success..
