yes sir it was. i wish he had a bigger roll in the movie. can you imagine how bad ass it woulda been if they dualed? vincent vs jason? oh wow. that would be great.

when the man picks up the women near the beginning of the film and he plays a song on the radio in the cab, no one to blame.. whats it called? please post back to me, would be much appreciated x
Does anybody know if the artist of this version of the song (Michael Hutchenance) recorded this song on one of his albums? I know it was on the Batman Forever soundtrack but I can't find it anywhere else.
that was just a set experiment basically. they happen from time to time. it's where one bad ass motherfucker in a badass movie paralells with another badass motherfucker in another badass movie. statham was probably just a hitman just like vincent on his way to blast some motherfuckers. anyway, colateral is one of my favorite movies of all time.
Ive always known this song is awesome. its better then the original actually. and i think it makes perfect sense with this film since he does kinda live a life of passenger.
does anyone know any good movies that deal with hitmen, like this one of any sort? I've already seen The Professional, War, Kiss Of The Dragon, and the Bourne movies.
They wanted him at one point, but they decided that they needed a younger actor.
They also considered Cuba Gooding Jr., but decided they didn't want to team him up with Tom Cruise again -- and Adam Sandler, but decided to go with Foxx.
They also offered the Vincent part to Russell Crowe, Colin Farrell and Edward Norton before Tom Cruise.
Also the film was offered to Spike Lee, Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg before it went to Michael Mann.
the two main characters of the movie are exactly the opposite that's why this movie is so impressive.... You got on the one side the risky and ruthless murderer and on the other side you got a risk less taxi driver... There dialogues are excellent and the end was marvelous.... la la la la la la
i think that this movie just dont is about action and stuff its about the friendship between vincent and max, and that vincent learn´d max to do something whit hes life and thats the beautiful thing about the movie
Yeah, i think your spot on there, my theory is that subconciously Vince wanted Max to kill him in the end,if you look into his eyes you can see he's a scarred individual. That's why he left the laptop with the lawyer chick's details on it, the same chick Vince knew from the start that he was going to kill and that Max had her card, and why else would he put up with Max giving him so much shit and kept trying to show him the ropes and give him advice...
U know, Vincent seems like the guy u'd actually enjoy having a beer with, he's twisted but very intelligent and funny in his own way and seems to have a lot of people skill.. U just dont wanna mess with him!
HEs a sociopath, sociopaths normally have good social skills, however they dont feel much emotion hence making them good at killing people and other dangerous jobs as they dont feel remorse or fear ect. They tend to be clever too.
Together with se7en one of the best movies i know. The atmosphere ist just amazing and Tom Cruise shows for the first time(in my opinion) that he is really a great actor.
Tom Cruise as a bad guy is what he should be. I never really liked him or was a big fan of Cruise until I saw this movie. He just makes the perfect bad guy. That is all I can say about his role as the bad guy...Perfect. Or was he a bad guy?
he was so funny in tropic thunder

It was released on an import single in 1999 two years after his death. Previously only released on the Batman Forever soundtrack.
Michael Hutchence - "Straight Line" with additional tracks "Standing on the Rofftop" and "The Passenger".
