Devil May Cry 4 - Secret Mission 3

go to the top left corner of the room from where you start and it should be a tiny hallway with a door. Don't press X or O near the door or you'll fail the mission. When you're in that hallway, the scarecrows won't follow you for some reason, but the Frost will show up right in front of you by teleporting or whatever it does. Your goal here is to learn the attacks of the Frost and jump out of the way as soon as the Frost attacks.(continued in next comment)

to abuse enemies as shields you need to get some sort of skill found only in level 8.

but here is a strategy i found in gamefaqs buy a guy named darkknight191 that lets you do it without any special skill,i havent tried it but check it out (ill post another comment for it)

I didn't know that using the scarecrow as a shield and taunting would raised the stylish rank but thanks to the video i finally was able to clear the mission.

theres a cheap way to do all secret missions and this is probably the easiest way, for me anyway :D

Dont forget the taunt.

If youre holding a Monster press back by Xbox 360 an lock on a Monster.

The Monster will guard you, you taunt and get more Points and skill Level raises faster.

Not until you beat the game on devil hunter then unlock son of sparda difficulty beat the game on son of sparda difficulty to unlock dante must die difficulty then beat the game on Dante must die difficulty and then you will have both super Nero and Dante and I BELIEVE you can play through the game with just one of them I'm not 100% sure about that though. I AM sure that doing the what I mentioned above gets you super Nero and Dante

Even though i have "pick up" ability and also I taunt all the time style points never rises above half of the bar. A tried so many times. Sometimes when im lucky i get skill points without enemy atackig. What im doing wrong? I have to taunt in proper moments of what?

YES! People listen. While you hold enemy in air wait for enemies attacks. You have to taunt right after each attack. When I notice it I finished this mission at first time.

Start with the scarecrow but then you'll have to switch to freeze once the scarecrows die.. Don't forget to throw in a couple taunts.

To Hold enemies you need the Hold ability. the Hold ability is acquired at the end of Mission 08 -.-

I got a question. do you have to grab the scarecrow instead of the froze to get ranking? and every time I grab the enemies I used him as a shield the froze creature keep hitting with the special he do in your video. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong

You can, but using the Frost is better because it's bigger. And it has more defense and hp than the scarecrow. And don't forget to taunt.

if you're having trouble with the scarecrows dying before it gets to rank C, try doing a couple enemy steps at the beginning of the mission (where you jump on the enemy's head) and it helps raise your style meter just a little bit, it was barely any but it helped me

this can actually only acheived on a second playthrough, after you get aegis shield from credo, return back to that mission and use B (for Xbox 360 users like me ^.^) or the buster button and hold dont let go
