What I meant by that was there's hardly any difference between mainstream Democrats and Republicans. Sure they might have slightly different social policies, but they both serve the same banking elite, along with many of the same big corporations and special interests.

I dont blame Bush for the economy. People say that it was his spending. The problem I do have with him is he never vetoed a spending bill. These bills had a lot of BS in them and the Demarcates played a major part of that BS kind of like what they are still doing today.

No one person or institution can be blamed for the entire problem. Deregulation (a tenet of Republican philosophy) made it possible for unqualified people to get loans. The financial sector made huge sums of money off selling the loans off piecemeal. And then the idiots who got loans they knew they couldn't actually pay (gasp!) didn't pay their loans. It's almost everyone's fault, but Greenspan and others initiated it. It's not a partisan issue.
