but with that said, bluray can easily be in all the next generation consoles but not because its good (hd-dvd had better proformance) but bluray is the hardest medium to copy and pirate.

@brucenatelee The DVDs that Xbox uses hold about 9GB. the Blu-ray that PS3 uses holds 50GB. If theres more memory on the disc type, and game producers needed to make a bigass game, MGS4 for an example, they would need to go with the Blu-ray.

It's actually illegal for for them to deny it's use for the 360 w/o new contracts. It's like how the ps3 had to be sold so high or it would be sued by it's bluray retailers for mal-practice against their sales.

every1 I know who breaks down and buys a ps3, plays it for 1-2 weeks then return to their XBOX360 because of WAY BETTER online matchs and game chat AND Video Chat!! their new ps3 just ends up being a dvd player for blu-ray. Me I streamline HD through XBL, no more dvd clutter except my old dvds. Who buys dvds these day anyways? thats like buying cds, no one does, we get in all through itunes or netflix or XBL!!! even blu-ray is going the way of the dinosaurs. Who needs the clutter ..........

@brucenatelee The DVDs that Xbox uses hold about 9GB. the Blu-ray that PS3 uses holds 50GB. If theres more memory on the disc type, and game producers needed to make a bigass game, MGS4 for an example, they would need to go with the Blu-ray.
