For all the "WTF?" comments out there: When you focus at a point in a colored image for some time, your eye goes thru a process similar to computer screen "burn-in," although just temporarily. If you turn to a white field after, you will see an AFTERIMAGE of what you just stared at, except that it is the opposite colors of the original. The scene here is equivalent to a film negative, so you see the natural colors imposed on th B/W photo.

I actually hadn't read the more info until afterwards, and when I looked at the video a second time, only without looking at the dot, I finally found out it was in black and white!
