Magical Project S (the name of this series) is the best of all the Pretty Sammy spin-offs. The Japanese voice actors are beyond talented and the music is off the hook.

I especially love the closing song that starts up halfway through the series with Ryo-ohki playing the carrot maracas. I can't find it on You Tube. It's the cutest song ever!

This series also has true emotion mixed in with the slapstick. This one is worth looking for if you like Tenchi or the magic anime genre. A++!!!!

pretty sammy totaly copied the sailor moon. but pretty sammy sued sailor moon for copying THEM (sailor moon came out first) and they got theyr lisense revoked, which SUCKS!

Sailormoon and Pretty Sammy are part of the magical girl genre, and there are a lot of other shows with similar themes out there. There's a difference between sharing the same cliches and infringing on someone's copyright.

That's not true. Pretty Sammy started as a spoof of the whole magical girl genre, which has been around since the 70s (I think Cutey Honey qualifies as the first one ever) Pretty Sammy is very over the top because its poking fun at Sailor moon and all the others! Watch the one episode of Tenchi Muyo it debuts in. It was just really popular so they gave it it's own show. Yeah SM came out first. It's only unique because it combines Magical girl with Sentai (Power Rangers) Read up on it.

no this is the intro of the tv version, which has 26 episodes, though the OVA of pretty sammy indeed has only 3 episodes as far as I now. What a pity! :(
