I'm a lucky one who managed to marry a Japanese woman, but she and her family are people who travel a lot and have lived abroad, kind of a non standard Japanese family. The girls I've met there are very friendly, cute, sweet and everything, but I could feel the large cultural gap straight away (I come from France), even if we always got along well. I doubt I could get anywhere close to dating one if I wanted (and were single...).

Many japanese women are very liberal when it comes to casual sex and having multiple relationships although they will probably not admit as much.

Honestly though from my experience living in Japan It is easy. But I don't think that is because there Japanese. Maybe a little of the culture and how they are. You can definately get easy girls for free in Rappongi, if you`re young though its easier. I got a couple of girls to go to hotels within 5 minutes of meeting them there. I think it depends a lot on how good you look, your personality, and also on how good your Japanese is. Culture aside, women are women.
If you're a good looking, funny/positive white guy, and your Japanese is pretty fluent, you'll probably get some opportunities for hooking up. But you have to know how to speak to a different culture.
There is a reason businesses have different marketing strategies overseas. You can NOT sell a product (or yourself) with the same presentation in every country.

I got to go to japan when I was in the Marines. I really enjoyed it. I did meet some very nice girls, but unfortunately I didn't know anything about the culture. I wish I had known these tips then.

But I think it's how good you are at talking to them. I have had a Japanese girl in Shibuya/scrambles meet me take me to a place then never call me again. Some of them, not all, more so the clubers are just like American men. Now there are another set of Japanese girls that don't touch us.

You can definately get easy girls for free in Rappongi, if you`re young though its easier. I got a couple of girls to go to hotels within 5 minutes of meeting them there. Im not bragging, they were just gaijin groupies and it just happens a lot there. Dont listen to this guys advice and be scared to make a move on an easy girl. My advice is to learn Japanese and start getting the quality girls that are cleaner and cant speak English, then you dont have to use a condom.

Some excellent and informative videos about Japan here, but I feel the opinion expressed in this is more biased in view than perhaps intended. There is an underlying assumption here that liberal, non-committal sexual attitudes equate to perversion and that such a pollution is seen and shot down instantly by Japanese women.
I can only say I am suspicious of the truth of this claim, considering it also seems to be at odds with the warning of the prevalence of sexism mentioned in an earlier video

But what he said about Japanese women avoiding foreigners because of their reputation, and looking for long-term mates when they date, thats all true. Its also true that its a smaller percentage of women are out looking for casual sex than in western countries. Quite a bit more common to be a virgin into your late 20s there too

Well, having never been to Japan I cannot relate. If true, it seems that women are treated the absolute inverse of how they are treated here in the UK. I had a good Japanese girl once upon a time (she was 13 and I just turned 14). She was a Japanese exchange student and the nicest girl I've ever met. It took 3 months for her to actually realise that I was actually trying to ask her out lol, then after that we did. She's done everything for me and it was the best relatioship I've ever been in. I don't see why any sensible dude would go to Japan to be a player. If you're anywhere in Asia/Oceania and you have that type of attitude, go to Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia, Vietname, etc. You'll have plenty of options there to play the pimp if you want.

The problem isn't Japanese girls if you can't pick them up it's with the person who is trying, or worse off, not trying. It's social skills which allow anybody to meet women and men who have trouble doing this won't be able to do it anywhere. I've been with a lot of Japanese women as well as non Japanese and the basics to meet are always the same. Bar, cafe, street, it's mostly confidence.
