you have to buy the big bobby pin that are thicker and more sturdy. just go to the beauty supply store and where the bobby pins are you should see ones that look more sturdy. they are a little bit more expensive put they work.

I like this updo very much and I tried to make it but it turned out that my hair has nothing to do with bobbypins like those used for the vid. I mean, though my hair's only shoulder-long, straight and silky, it's way tooo thick (I'm not complaining - no, I like it!) and the result was kinda impressive: bobbypins started flying across my room like they were shooted out from cannon:) so, I used mini claws for keeping my hair up. Hope this tip will help those who have hair similar to mine :)
