There seems to be a problem with this commercial.Why are only two ethnicity's shown in the commercial? Why are the new buildings only in the camera view? Yes the teachers are great, but some of the students .... well aren't. I do not need to see your boxers or grill. And not every girl u see wants to be wit u. Wish our football team was something. To pass study hard, cheat, or get old exams. Books and tuition high, but your safety is not important they already got your money.

@Just4Friendz When I want to take a load of my shoulders and relieve myself of stress, I surround myself with the others that are referred to by those that couldnt overcome as you read in comments (excuses) below or above. TSU's campus is nice, the professors are highly qualified, and the students are being well educated. If you can't keep focus.... wear horse blinders. If that doesn't work... kill yourself cuz you suck at setting a goal to graduate, and using BS as a reason not to achieve that!

If Texas Southern is anything like it was when I first visited there, they need a serious make over. When I was a senior in high school my friends and I decided to visit some HBCUs and TSU was one of them. HOOD!!!!! Why would anybody want to leave the Hood feeling like they are making something of themselves and feel like they are right back in the hood. So glad I did not go to that school.

Been wanting to reply to this for awhile but I've been busy. I'm a PROUD TSU dropout :). The day I left TSU was the best thing I did for myself. You have to put yourself in an environment to be successful, lol, thats definitely not TSU. We all know that, so I won't entertain anymore comments opposing this. Some people make it out and do great things... but we all know too well that they had to fight for that, and that shouldn't be the case.

@JamesL1585 nah ur just a dropout, all schools will have their unachievers and unsuccessfull stuends, as will society have its devients, but no one expecially not your piers are to blame, only you. Yes I will agree and just be hones that at the most 30 percent of the students make you say man how did they get in college but the instructors are good, and thats all that matters. You have the opportunity to either succeed or fail at TSU just like anywhere else
