all ktms backfire, its because they dont have the air release in the carbi. to fix it you either jet the fucker or block it off. :) id leave it, that thing looks badass! , doesnt wreck it.. its the way they were made.

valves & jetting? thats just the pipe without the baffles?!?

No thats actually you floating your exhaust valves allowing compression gases to escape prematurely than reignite coming out of the muffler. I can take my muffler off and rev it to the limiter and it will not do this.

Check your valves!
