Watch now.........every other car as....... always going to bite off Audi starting with the grill and lights. Chysler for starters....oops Chevy Malibu....the list goes on
@SladkaPritomnost Not in my pocket. There are few things like... dont know if u heard of ti.. called BATTERIES... and, btw, they are getting better every day.
How does it create so much torque? Could someone please explain because i never thought electric cars were that powerful lol Beautiful car though! Hydrogen fuel cell ftw!
@Nitrohelp Most people dont know that electric motors have Extreme amount of tourqe. Unlike gasolean engines eletric motores produce all thiere toruqe Instantly at Very low RPM but resulting in a huge inrush current demanding a ton of power. They produce so much tourqe that most dump trucks that work in mines are mostley eletric wheel motors and have a gas generator to power them. Btw im a eletriction :)
The electric motor used in the BMW/MB hybrids only have 20 hp, but it can add up to 155 foot-pounds of torque from 0 rpm. Each of the 4 motors in this have about 80 hp and up to about 840 foot-pounds of torque. The first example has a multiple of 8, the second, 10, so entirely possible.
the blueish light in the front grille ruins the car...

Electricity bill might higher than the fuel we used on cars per day..
Unless there is a way to renew the electric power store rather than using the electric plug that we use at home.

@devdeng I have read that aptera costs about 1cent a mile to charge. I really have no idea how much miles it gets per charge.

3320 ft-lb of torque? this has to be a joke, right?
XenoRacing 1 year ago
@XenoRacing nope, electric motors have as much torque as a tank, possibly more
TravisCO2009 1 year ago
@XenoRacing electric motors are more powerful than gasoline engines

...how do we store electric power. that is the question...

Yes I would be pleased to see them perfect yet they are weak and expensive.
The suitable batteries for car industry are based on Lithium-ion technology.
some data from wikipedia about Lithium-ion battery::
Energy/consumer-price 2.5 Wh/US$
If you want to use 50kWh type of battery it will cost you 20.000 US$ (only for battery).
With 50kWh battery your engine can run approx. 2 hours...
SladkaPritomnost 11 months ago
@SladkaPritomnost Completely false. Electric cars have already MUCH better performances than what you are saying. Get informed.

@Nitrohelp
Hydrogen fuel cell is up for a dead end. Nothing you can do about it now. No production models planned from any major car makers for 2011.
On the other hand, Nissan, Audi, Reva, Tesla, Fisker and Bugatti have all production line cars either already on road for 2010 or planned for 2011.
Electric FTW!
