This truly is a beautiful song, and arguably is more intimate with the original story in the book than the film. I've seen some of the other comments on here, and I think that the film Eragon is similar to what they - "they" referring to the filmmakers - did with The Golden Compass. They took the story, and tried to squeeze it into a standard beginning, middle, climatic end film structure, which inevitably leads to bits being forced out, changed or compacted.

the movie was bad compared to the movies yet it is a touching tale if you watch it without the expectations, it was an amazing movie and the effects were amazing.

of course they have to take things out from the book but it's what being a movie is about.

I agree with you starcatcher, the book is class! all the books are! the movie,.. meh nice effects but its so far from the story, it ruins it! i mean for christ sake, dont make a movie if you cant follow the story?
