meaning for a lot of us out here in the real world..yep I agree. You pay,oh how we pay.

  • Great video..thanx

  • It is a good picture for the loved tune.

    Thank you for up-loading.

  • Simplement sublime ! Méconnu ...et sublime !

  • There is so many wonderful songs that Eric has recorded I can't even begin to pick a favorite, but I know I do love this song, and God willing there are many more to come in the years ahead. Claptons music always has and always will be my favorite.

  • I was 6 years old when I bought this album to my brother, it was when our family begun to spit up and at nights I heard this song.

  • To jbawn, youre wrong. great album. skål!

  • Nice song but overall his worst album apart from theres one in every crowd

  • @jbawn What a wanker!! Who the fuck are you to criticise this man's work? Fuck off!

  • i'ts all subjective.

some folks like it when he plays american blues, or the cream, or whatever, but, i can truly say, that this song was a major part of my healing in a bad situation, and only we understand that ec was very much like george, hell they were buddies.

  • @jbawn Who do you wankers think you are? This man inspired MILLIONS to pick up an ELECTRIC guitar and you dare to criticise a small part of his work?

The sheer arrogance, astounds me, it truly does.

    Fuck off!

  • felixq78 u are a complete prick go and put your head underwater three times and take it out twice, youll see from all my other comments im a massive clapton fan and have seen him in concert bout 20 times. However, Another ticket is his worst album. I dont have to love everything he does. U obv stalk him and wank over him daily as u think everythin he does is perfect. This and the One in evry Crowd album are widely known as two of his weakest albums, and i totally agree so get a life u prick

  • It's pretty apparent that you don't know the guitar very well. I worked extremely hard to master several songs on this album. When I completed each song, my level of appreciation for Eric Clapton increased. The song "Floating Bridge" might be the best blues number Clapton recorded. Another gem would be "Blow Wind Blow." It's full of energy. Finally, I encourage you to analyze the chord progression on "Another Ticket." You'll discover that it is simply beautiful. I'd be happy to show you it.

  • @jbawn 1 in every crowd & Backless were seemingly 'the album after', repeating an earlier successful formula: whereas this one sounds v distinctive. It is underrated, with the work on Floating Bridge & Blow wind a glimpse of EC 'on a good day' - which wasn't often at this time.

  • excellent love it thx

  • I also love this album.I had the album and tab and played along with it . It was a time when Clapton was putting the song before his playing. Still His performance of "Blow Wind Blow" is a landmark for other blues players it is perfect in its simplicity and laidback quality.

  • love this song...thx for uploadin it!

  • Probably my Eric's Favorite album!!! God bless Eric!!

  • Eric,

You are great! You're a suurvivor.

    God Bless You!

    Moacir S. Siva (from brazil)

  • I went to this concert in Seatle at the Paramount. I glued the ticket stub to the album cover and still have it. I think it was the last concert of that tour because he came down sick. It's my favorite song/album of Clapton's. Thanks for the memory!

  • You mean he had the ulcer? Which nearly burst and killed him? Not a happy time for EC, seems he only really recovered by the early 90s - then he lost his son.

  • great vid

seen it yesterday! lets chat 2F

  • this is one of his best songs.... SO WHY CANT I FIND A DECENT TAB FOR IT !!!!!!!!!

  • i have the eric clapton anthology tab book and it has it as the first tab, my first time listening to it great song

ps - i can give you the tabs

  • Masterpiece!

  • This is a Clapton song I am not familiar with and just fell in love with. The slide show was extemely enjoyable.

  • i'm Italian, been in uk for 7 years now , learn english in uk, now i can understand all the lyrics, BRAVO Clapton:) exellent.

    Ciao.

  • this is one of the greatest songs of all time. why can't it stay like this forever. it's impossible but oh what dream it is oh my love time is running out.

  • i wish to turn around and find another ticket of my life...

  • Says it all. Thank you very much.

  • This album was one of the best of that period. Highly overlooked now.

  • But not one of his best albums at a time when drink was taking its toll. This was one of the best tracks and is v underrated. Possibly the typical 80s production smothers it.

  • Q (out of lots of curiosity): what exactly do you mean by "typical 80's production"?

  • Over use of the synth, twiddly guitar, etc. Could be Gerry Rafferty.

Not that I have anything against this song (or GF). Indeed, it brings back happy memories!

  • cool, thanks:) funny that I asked you 2 questions without knowing it.

  • beautiful song

  • very beautiful

  • One of Eric's songs that really hits the core and only his fans would really know of. You would never hear this song on the radio and yet I think alot more people would connect with it. I think the album Another Ticket was one of Eric's best but seemingly under rated. God bless Eric!

  • This song always affected me!

  • The words of my life...

  • One of my favorite Clapton tunes.

  • very beautiful song. great eric

  • Great song. Just read his bio and it is just amazing to see where he began and where he is today. Don't all of us wish that at some point in life we could buy another ticket for another ride. I know I do the older I get. I am so thankful to all of you wonderful people that continue to post EC's music. God bless you all.

    MM

  • This is to me an awesome album - I am an old -- and have bought it in 3 formats (record, cassette and CD).

An even bettter track off this album is Somethings Special - even better that Wonderful Tonight.

His autobiography, It is a shame how and why that support band got dismissed.

  • FOR YOU BOB....

  • COME HOME....BUY ANOTHER TICKET...

  • beautiful =)

  • this is my favourite Eric Clapton song.....:X:X
