i am not familiar with rb27's, 28's, or 30's. last i heard they jumped right from the rb26 to the newly designed one used in the R35's. Whats the deal on the 28, 29, and 30's?
The deal is that on some few skylines, the power is increased thanks to the increase of the displacement (standard engine is RB26 (2.6liters -> it is re-bored to 2.7 2.8 3.0liters and minimum 500hp).
Here, I was asking if the standard manufacturing of the RB25 allows to do the same. Does someone know?

yes, the RB25 can be stroked to a 2.6 or 2.7 litre using different cranks

It's called a stroker kit. Tomei and HKS sell for for the RB25 that strokes it 2 2.7, i've got a tomei RB25det stroker in my GTS25t

is this engine re-bored? I mean we can often see some RB27 RB28 even RB30 engines, however can a RB25 be bored to 2.6 or 2.7 liters?

RB30 was made by nissan... its old, RB30E.
people take the bottom end of the RB30 and put the head of a RB25/RB26 ontop of it
as for 2.7/2.8 yeah you can get a tomei stroker kit to increase rb25/rb26 displacement
