Speaking from personal experience, what I named previously gets old really quick. One can not make an informed decision about conversion, especially if they are not white, without knowing the information I provided and asking themselves if it's something they can handle for the rest of their lives. Hey, I'm not versed in the Jewish faith but some things he said kind of made me wonder. He said that real Jewish people would accept anybody regardless of color but then he went on to say that some Rabbis don't like converts. He said that some Rabbis need to be sure that a person is really dedicated. Does skin color help a Rabi to judge this? Since when does a religion not want converts? I thought the point religion was to bring people closer to God. Why should skin or prior religion matter?
